Hi guys, I'm from the UK and am travelling over with my family at the end of this week...we're wondering if there is anytwhere which states what we can and cannot bring into the country food wise? I know milk is not allowed but we were hoping to bring some cereal for our first night as we're touring around. Any help will be great!!
From Buenos Aires to Boston thru JFK
I`m going from Buenos Aires Argentina to JFK, connecting to another flight to Boston (both of them on AA). I`ve exactly 2 hours between them and I have to do migrations, customs and recheck my luggage, I always do this by DFW and time is OK, but I want to know from JFK users if this time is enough in JFK to do this.

terminal 4 to terminal 8
My 19 yr old son is arriving @ terminal 4 aer lingus 730 pm. I need to make a flight reservation for him from jfk to tulsa, which would leave from terminal 8. What departure time should I make from term 8 to insure he has plenty of time to get there?
Most flights to tulsa are
Most flights to tulsa are going to be from LGA. If he is arriving at JFK at 7;30 pm, he need to clear customs first. It is unlikely that you will fing a flight that late in the evening to Tulsa. Best bet would be for him to take the shuttleover to LGA and get a room at an airport hotel and fly out in the a.m from there

Places to eat
We have a four hour layover and would like to meet our family for lunch. Please advise what restaurants serve Delta Airlines international flight layovers.
Layover in JFK 4 Hours
It is NOT a wise idea of having only 4 hours between your flights. The only way that this will work if they come and stay with you at the airport, and you may dine in Terminal 4 which is open for the public.
Delta Terminal is NOT open for the public, only for ticketed passengers.

Wow what a great site this is. I often use JFK. Newark is closer for me but every now and then JKF it is. I will be sure to check back the next time im going there. Thanks for putting the time and energy into this site. Wow!
Transfer
I am coming in JFK from Aruba at terminal 8 and I have 1 hour and 50 minutes to go to my flight to London in terminal 4. Do I have enough time to make my connection? And do I have to pick up my luggage in terminal 8 and check it in again in terminal 4? Thank you.
Connection Time
1.5 Hours, Plenty of time - Just pray your AA flight is NOT delayed - then you will have to some running.
LHR to JFK to MCO
I am arriving on Virgin Atlantic @ 12.30 must go through immigration (U.S. citizens) and customs then have to be in terminal 6 for jet blue flight to Orlando which leaves at 1655hrs. I HAVE TO YOUNG CHILDREN/CAR SEATS ETC. TRAVELLING ALONE! How do I get everything over there for check in? Ready to pay airport employee for personal assistance. What do you think??
Connection
You have plenty of time my friend, just don't rush into it.
Ask if Virgin has a baggage agreement with Jetblue (Not most airlines due) then you can connect your Bags in Terminal 4 after clearing customers. It will be easier for you. If not, Im sorry then you would have to LUG them in the Airtrain, to Terminal 6.
