You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

We are picking our daughter up on Saturday evening. She is flying in on LOT 26 from Warsaw. I plan to park in the blue parking for terminal 4. She did not give us a gate #. Can you give that info to me? Also, how much time should we give for going through customs and picking up luggage.

Is there an option to park
Is there an option to park more than 30 days at the long term parking lot? I am ready to pay the $18 per day. but is there an option available ? This is because I won't be able to return before 30 days as I expected.
30 days limit is for the
30 days limit is for the short term parking lot. Long term parking lot does not have a limit.

Airtrain is the meaning of transportation from Long Term Parking Lot to JFK Terminals. It comes every 5 mins and it is free.

Is the Red short time parking lot open?
on the terminal 8 map, it states that the red lot is closed. i want to park there this thursday.

Height restriction for green parking garage.
Is there a height restriction for the parking garage? I drive a PU truck and I know that some garages have low ceilings. I'm flying Delta from terminal #3.

Green parking lot is closer
Green parking lot is closer but more expensive($33/day). Long term parking is cheaper - $18/day; take Airtrain from there to T1(15 mins trip).

This is my first time going to the jfk airport. I want to verify if this is correct. My parents flight arrives at 4 tomorrow. If I use daily jfk airport parking, the fees will be $6 an hour???
