Price list (as of May 1st,2010) for baggage storage only at the facilities at Terminal 1 and Terminal 4.
The prices are per bag, per 24 hours:
Up to 20" - $4
21" - 24" - $6
25" - 26" - $8
27" - 32" - $11
Other(non standard bags, skis etc) - $16

I am wondering is there a limit on storage period? I read somewhere that I could only store for 24 hours max, is it true for the one in terminal 4? I actually would like to store for like a week.
I found a company in midtown
I found a company in midtown manhattan who does Luggage Storage for the day, week, month and Luggage Forwarding as well.
Schwartz Travel Services / 355 w 36 / 212-290-2626 / www.schwartztravel.com it may be a great alternative.
but keep in mind they are only open daily from 8am - 8pm and not 24h.

I am planing a roadtrip, but I don't want to carry my luggage all around. I was wondering if i could store my luggage in the airport even if i'm not arriving at it, but just departing from it. Also I wanted to know how safe is it and safety measures they take.

Good Day,
i will be travelling to SFO on 23rd May and will return to NY on 28th to leave to final destination Istanbul on 29th May. All flights are by Delta (T3) and wish to leave my luggage for 1 week (to be left on 23rd to be collected on 29th) in JFK's luggage storage. I understand there is no storage facility in T3. Pls suggest the easiest way to carry luggages between terminals and approx cost of one large size luggage (20-25 kgs) for one week.

I have used the service a few times. They have a sign saying that the max storage period is 24 hours. They do not care if you arrived at JFK but you have to show a boarding pass that departs within the next 24hrs.

They don't ask for any thing except cash when you pick up your luggage.
I just used them and they are great.
Terminal 4 lower level near info booth.

Hi,
I'll be meeting up with friends from India (1), and UK (4)...
where is the best place for us to all meet, can we do it at each terminal as they arrive? or is there a better place we can arrange beforehand and just tell everyone to make their way there after everyone has landed, so we don't keep having to chase around the terminals?

Leaving luggage for 5 days time
Hello Sirs,
I would like to ask if it's safe and allowed to leave luggage for 5-days time, since we have to travel to Boston and Niagara Falls and we don't want to take it all with us. Someone told me there was a time limit for luggage being stored. Is this true?

we're going to travel from Miami to JFK and we want to leave our luggage (4 regular luggages less than 50lbs) in storage to go the city until our flight to BCN at 1am.
Apparently, it's not safe to leave luggages at this storage. Is it the only option we have? Do we have to pay for it and we have 50 % chance not to find our bags after all? why this is not more controlled? Who's responsible if something happens?
Please let me know if you have answers to my questions

Saturday I depart for Orlando from T3 and come back in JFK T3 Tuesday at 15,00, after at 20,50 I depart for PSA.
Is possible the Luggage deposit?

Hi,
I've a flight for holidays to my country out of JFK.. I'm carring present (diamond ring with me), just today my company request me to go to Mexico and several us cities for ten days, then back to JFK.. and I will have only three hours to take my flight, no chance going home :(. as you may imagine I don't want to be hanging around in mexico with it neither in the states. So anyone knwos whether I can find security safes or similar in JFK or mayabe in a nearby hotel.
