thank you very much!

Hi! Since I can't take Airtrain to JFK somewhere more close to Manhattan than on Howard Beach or Jamaica...it doesn't have a sense (except money, if you use a subway to reach those stations...spending 2 hours ). Don't you planning to extend airtrain service line ?

You can take any subway line to a transfer station where you can get the J or E subway to Sutphin Blvd/JFK, the A subway to Howard Beach, or LIRR from either Atlantic Terminal-Brooklyn or Penn Station to Jamaica and hop on AirTrain to all terminals. AirTrain was designed to move passengers from the public transit centers at Jamaica (E, J subway and LIRR) and Howard Beach (A subway), as well as long term parking lot and rental cars to the terminal areas.

Hi, are there any train stations within 30-40 mins of JFK which are park & ride and connect to train station line?

Subway stations do not have parking lots. Most LIRR stations have parking lots however most require a permit to park or have meters for daily parking only. Rosedale (at Queens/Nassau border on Conduit Ave.) has free parking near the station but would think that fills up quickly. If you can find a legal spot at any LIRR station you can take LIRR to Jamaica and then transfer to AirTrain to terminals. See www.mta.info/lirr/ for station/parking info.

Could you please tell we the best way to get to 138 East 112 street? Is it possible to taka a train or bus? Best regards,
Anna

Take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5) and transfer to the E subway to Lexington/53rd St ($2.25). Transfer to the uptown #6 subway to 110th St. Walk up Lexington Ave. two blocks to E. 112th St and turn left.

I have to be at the T4 3am, where can i parking for the long term and how often does the air train runs? Which one to take and how long will taketo get from the LTP to T4?
Thank you.

Follow the signs to long term parking off Lefferts Blvd. Park and walk to the Lefferts Blvd. AirTrain station and take to terminals. On your return be sure to take AirTrain on track 1 marked Howard Beach as that train will stop at Lefferts Blvd. AirTrain runs 24/7 every 15 minutes. Travel time from LTP to T4 is about 10 minutes.

Hi I am arriving into JFK on the 12th May at 5pm. Please could you let me know what the best way to get to 377 East 33rd Street would be?
Thanks.

Taxi is direct and will cost $45+tolls+tip. You can also take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, transfer to the downtown #6 subway to 33rd St. It's a fairly long four block walk from Park Ave. to your location near 1st Ave. so if you don't want the exercise you can walk one block up to 34th St. and take the M34 crosstown bus eastbound on 34th to 1st Ave.

I need to pick up my father at JFK and plan to take a train to Boston. Is there any airtrain or shuttle bus conneted to the train station to Boston?

You can take the NY Airporter bus ($15) from terminal to Penn Station or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and transfer to LIRR to Penn Station ($10-$13).

I am arriving at Terminal 4 at 6:45 AM from India. I have one piece of Strolley suitcase. Need to catch AirTrain to LIRR Jamaica station. My queries:

1)How much time does custom clearance take?
2) How much do I have to walk in the terminal to catch the AirTrain?
3) Where do I have to buy the ticket from? Is Metro card compulsory? Or cash is sufficient?
4) From LIRR Jamaica station, I need to buy a ticket for Hicksville or Glenhead. Can anyone pls guide?

1)customs can take anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
2)you will walk to the 3rd floor of T4 for AirTrain. Take AirTrain on track 1 marked to Jamaica Station.
3&4)When you get off of the AirTrain at Jamaica there are self service kiosks where you can purchase your AirTrain ($5) and LIRR fare ($5.75 off-peak) on the same ticket; LIRR fare on one side and a $5 Metrocard on the other side. Simply swipe the Metrocard side to pay and exit AirTrain and hold on to the ticket to give to the conductor on LIRR. The kiosk instructions are fairly easy to follow however there are folks available to help you navigate.
