JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Is there ever a concern that Long Term Parking is full? If I'm leaving on Sat 1/29 and returning 2/1, can I just go straight to long term and find a spot?

Long term parking very rarely fills up, even on holidays. You shouldn't have any problems.

I was told to park at Lefferts Blvd.--- My flight leaves late evening tonight (Jan 27). Will I be able to park or will the snow be piled up pretty high? I want to know in advance prior to driving to the airport and being stuck with no place to park for the weekend.

i see charges on yellow parking should not exceed $33 per day. I was charge on my E-Z pass $132 for 3 days even.

Can i park in the daily lot for terminal 4 for one week? if so, how much. This would be very convenient for me as i am leaving from terminal 4

Short Term Parking
MMC Got to airport late and parked in the short term lot for Terminal 3. I'll be away for 20 days and am not very happy about price I'll be paying. But bigger question is whether there's any time limit on short term lot that enforced... however it might be enforced.

MMC you think $33/day is reasonable i you have a problem getting to airport, have to rush and have no choice but to park in short term lot? Is any break given? is there any limit ontime car may be parked there? thx
Leaving keys for roommate
I'm flying out of JFK tomorrow at 7a. Coincidentally my roommate is arriving at JFK that same day at 3:45p. Ideally I could drive myself to the airport, park the car, and she could drive it home later, helping us both out. The only problem is I have the only key. Is there a way I could leave the key with an attendant that could give it to her later that day, lowing her to drive it home?
