You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Is there a bus service from JFK to NJ, Newark Airport? Due to NY traffic, I want to see if there are bus services that I can advise my wife to take if I am unable to pick her up upon arrival. Thanks for your assistance.
Disabilitiy price inside Short term parking
Flying Jetblue what is the cost to park in short term parking in front of T5 as I'm disabled. As I exit the lot should I just show my handicap permit to parking attendant, to be able to receive the long term price of $18. For parking inside short term. Just verifying what a friend has told me I could do with handicap. Thanks

seeing her boyfriend off?
My daughter wants to go to the airport to see off her boyfriend...........he is leaving from terminal 7. From what i have read on here orange parking daily is where I want to go...can we park go inside and hang out for a bit with him. How long will he need to go through customs before his flight....he has a 9:30 pm flight what time should he get to airport? What time should he make his way to customs.? not really sure how this all will work.
You need to be 2-2.5 hours
You need to be 2-2.5 hours in advance at the terminal. He can clear security(not customs) at 8:50pm the latest. At that time the TSA lines are not that big so he would be inside in 5-10 mins.
You can be with him all the time until he enters the sterile area through TSA checkpoint.

How do you know if their is availability in a daily lot before coming to the airport...I have driven before and the lot is full.
