The club is on Lakeville Rd. in Lake Success, probably about 15 miles and 20 minutes depending on traffic. You're on the meter so figure about $30 + tip.

Can you give me a more specific time that it would take to get from the one airport to the other. I have a two+ hour window to make a flight. Will this be a problem?

Which airports do you mean?

Hello, we are arriving in NYC next week and are thinking about using either a taxi or super shuttle to get us to our hotel in Lower Manhattan. However, we have an 18 month old toddler with us and we are confused with regard to car seats. Do either services provide them? Do we have to have one? Is it law? Thanks in advance for any help and advice you can give.

Yellow cabs are exempt from the state law that requires child to be in the child seat.
Children under the age of seven are permitted to sit on an adult's lap.

I am so surprised by that. I am traveling to JFK with my 3year old and baby in a fortnight and would not ever travel with them on my lap. Are there recommended cabs to take or book with carseats?

hoping to get general idea of cost of taxi from jfk to brooklyn, my daughter will be traveling alone & I want to make sure she has enough to cover the cost. thanks

Taxi from JFK to Brooklyn is on the meter. Depends on where in Brooklyn but I'd say at least $50.

Hi, I am travelling next July to attend the NYC Triathlon. That means for me 4 persons, 4 suitcases and one large bikecase. I am looking for the most efficient and less costly option from JFK to the Hilton and Towers hotel in Manhattan. thanks for your advice and contact info you can give me if a reservation is necessary.

Taxi is probably the best option - there are taxis with bigger baggage compartments. At the taxi line let the taxi dispatcher know your needs and ask for opinion. The taxi will cost you flat fare of $50.50+tip.
If that does not work , go inside to Ground transportation(Welcome Center)counter and ask for private van - the charge is $80 and up.

Hi,

I shall arrive at JFK on Tues, May/25 at around noon and heading to 211 Essex Street, Hackensack, NJ. I have 2 Standard size luggage. What are my options and their costs please.

Hi, we arrive at Jfk this saturday, my question is....is there enough room for 4 person with baggage in a taxi? or should we choose a shuttle? thanks

It depends how big are the bags, but generally - yes , you will be able to fit in yellow cab.
