hey, is china estern airlines at terminal 1? It is listed above, but where is it in the terminal 1 map?
I am going from CLT(US) to PVG(China) through JFK and I only have one and half hours trasfering from US airways to China Estern airline at JFK. Which is the fast way to get from terminal 7 to terminal 1? Do you think I have enough time to transfer?

The map is outdated. China Eastern is at Terminal 1 . You have enough time to transfer. Take Airtrain at T7, on track 2 to Terminal 1 - it takes only 5 minutes to get there.

Assistance with baggage between terminals
I am arriving on a Jetblue flight early on Tuesday morning with 2 large bags - I have recently had back surgery and require baggage assistance between the JetBlue terminal and the South African Airways terminal. What is available and how to deal with problem?

You can have so called sky caps(baggage handlers) help you with the bags. Some of them may assist you via Airtrain to T4. Otherwise you can have them bring the bags to the taxi stand , take a taxi to T4(~$5-$10), and then have another baggage handler help you from the curbside to the check-in counters at T4.
But first , check with Jet Blue if the bags are not transferred automatically to SA.

Buying the ticket in the last minute/day/week will cost you a lot - try to buy them in advance either from agency or on Internet. If you have no other choice - Jet Blue(Terminal 5 ) and Delta (Terminal 2/3) are the airlines flying from JFK to Las Vegas.

time to get from term 3 to 1
I am arriving on a Delta flight from Detroit on Sunday. If all goes according to schedule, I will have only 1 hour 45 minutes to get to Alitalia for a flight to Rome. Is this enough time to get baggage, then transfer to the gate via the tram?

transfer between T8 and T1
Hello, I have a question about transfer between Terminal 8 and Terminal 1. I come by Mexicana from Mexico City (MEX)at 4:25 P.M. to JFK and have the next flight by Aeroflot from Terminal 1 at 7 P.M. Should I pass a passport control to do this transfer? Should I have the valid visa to do this transfer? (the case is that I will enter the USA on May 5th with valid visa but then I go to Mexico and on the way back (on May 19th) the visa will already be expired..)

Hi, I'll also be traveling from Montreal to JFK, arriving at terminal 8 and having to leave at terminal 1 only 1h35 later.... What if I miss the flight? Is there another departure for Tokyo in the next hours? What do we do? Do we have to pass through the whole border process or can we just take our luggage and hurry to our next flight? I doubt it that there is a flight to Tokyo in the next few hours( may be on other airlines) . Japan Airlines has only one flight a day. If you book the two flights on the same ticket then AA has to reschedule your flight with the later one.
