JFK Airport

our flight from Paris - Air France arrives at 3:45pm. Do we have enough time to get through customs to our flight to Charlotte - US Airways - Terminal 7 departing at 5:50pm or should I book a later flight.

I am flying from JFK in late July. I am now able to travel 10 days earlier. If I come to the gate agent at the baggage check can I get on an earlier flight if there are seats open?

We arrive into terminal 3 via Delta Connection, leave out of terminal 7 via Icelandair, how do we get between the two terminals? We will be traveling for two months, so we will have 4 large suitcases.

I'm flying San Diego to JFK to Paris all on American Airlines on Monday June 15th. The only thing is that my layover in JFK is 41 minutes long in Terminal 8 (arrive 5:04pm Gate 3, depart 5:45pm Gate 39). I was advised to not check in luggage since it probably wouldn't make the plane transfer in time.
-So I should not check in a bag?
-Also, will I have to go through security again to get to my next flight?
-Does anyone know how long before an American Airlines international flight that boarding ends and they close the door to the plane?
-Should I call AA to let them know ahead of time of my tight schedule or would they already know I'm just getting off a plane in Terminal 8?

I´m flying from LA and arriving JFK at 15.00, to terminal 4. My international flight is leaving from terminal 8 at 17.40.

Is this 2 h 40 min. to change planes too short???

I was told that I don´t need to pick up my luggage at JFK at all, that they are put straight through towards my final destination, so do I go straight to terminal 8 and is there a "Transfer" desk or do I need to go to the check-in again?

Arriving at 2:45pm through terminal 1 and have a conncetion flight at 4:45pm with Delta terminal 4 (I believe), anybody could help me answer the question if we will make it through customs and immigration on time? Thank you so much for your help.

Can someone guide how much time does it take to clear the immigration and customs at JFK terminal 4. As my flight arrives at 4.30 pm on a Saturday and have a domestic connection from the Jet Blue terminal after 3 hours.

If I have someone coming in to JFK on Delta flt #6496 on 6/17/09 at 8:50PM connecting with Delta flt 206 which departs at 10:00PM. Will they be able to make the connection? thank you

Hi all, I will arrive in JFK at 5:45pm from Sao Paulo. I need to get a flight at 9:00pm (same day) flying Delta to Las Vegas from Terminal 3. I would like to know if the timing is okay to get to JKF at 5:45pm, go through customs, check in in Delta Airlines to catch the flight at 9:00 to Las Vegas.

My first question is ; they will be landing in terminal 3 and have to go to terminal 4 ..this two terminals are close enough to walk or do they need to take the train?? Second question is do they need to go us custom in Jfk or Minneapolis .. anf finally they have 2 hr connection time if they have to go through us custom in jfk is 2 connection time would be enough to catch their second flight ???

hello, i will be arriving at 4:30 pm in terminal 3, and theni have a flight at 5:30pm in terminal 4,

will i be able to make it on time?

A team of 7 of us will be travelling to Kenya this summer. We have an 10.5 hr. layover at JFK. Is there anything to do in the area around the airport in that time? We must be cautious of NYC traffic in order to make our next flight. We arrive on a Monday at 6 A.M. on Delta and need to leave on Northwest at 4:30 P.M.
Any suggestions? or just bring a good book??? I hate to be in New York and not see anything but the airport!!

We have clients, a grp of about 15 pax, who will be arriving by AA at T8 and departing JAL T1 on August 31, 2009. Their connecting time is one hour and 40 mins.

Is this enough time & where is the shuttle from T8 to T1 and how long does it take and what is the frequency.

They arrive at 11:30 & depart at 13:10.

I will be travelling from JFK to India in Mar09. My passport has lastname as my maiden name. But after marriage i prefer to use my husband's name as last name. I have the marriage certificate with me which was issued by indian government. While booking the ticket with Jetairways online i have given my last name as my husband's name bcoz my credit card which i used for booking has my husband's name as lastname. Will this be an issue while travelling? Will the TSA officials allow me if carry my marriage certificate(is in english) with me? Please clarify me.

How much time is needed to connect from an international to a domestic flight on different airlines?

My husband and I will be traveling with AA from Barcelona to JFK on November 10, Flight 151, arriving at 2:05 pm...... and connecting to Flight 2141 from JFK to Miami same day with departure at 3:20 p.m.
Can we make it?
We do not know the gates or terminals and where the Customs Procedeure takes place.
Could you assist and provide us the info so much needed about terminals, gates and proximity...and if we can make it on time to the Miami flight????

I am arriving on 5.58 p.m. in JFK by Delta 0086 and my connection to Frankfurt Germany is Delta 0106 already on 7.10 p.m.so I only have one hour for changing.
Is anybody who can tell me the way from arriving gate until to the boarding gate, so I won't miss it?
Is it in the same terminal?
