Hi
Hi,
I guess I'm not the only one. I'm going through the same issue. I'm expecting a package from the Philippines. I think Customs hasn't cleared it yet. It was sent on December 5th. Please let me know when customs will clear it. I hope this will be resolved asap. I've been waiting and hoping it would arrive soon.It would be most appreciated if you could leave me a number to contact customs directly to help clear this issue.Thank you again.

Hello, Can anyone tell me if there is a bus that goes from JFK to Teaneck, NJ? Or do I have to take one to Port Authority then to Teaneck, because that's the only way I know how to do it. Thanks for your help!!

Santa Claus and Airspace
My wife says that JFK reserves airspace for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve for three hours. Is this so and does he really need three hours?
No, the FAA actually
No, the FAA actually reserves the space for Santa Clause and his travels. He is limited to certain altitudes and shared airspace, but there is no limits to any airport.
When does the airport open?
How early can I arrive for a 7am flight? Last year I had to wait outside at LGA for 45 minutes before they opened for the day. If I arrive at JFK at 4:30 or 5am will I be able to get in? Thank you.
You should NEVER travel with
You should NEVER travel with LGA unless you have no other choice. JFK is open 24/7 and is SO MUCH of a better airport than LGA, its a shame, and all the airlines is LGA suck too!
hi
does anyone know about flight schedules of lufthansa on dec. 24 and where i can actually find the info..
I am trying to locate a
I am trying to locate a small carry-on that was lost by TAM airlines. They don't seem to be able to tell me whether it even arrived at JFK and they don't know whether they transfered it to Continental. Continental says it is not their job to look for a TAM bag. In other words, everybody blames everybody else. I travelled before the holiday season to avoid the problems associated to travel at this time of the year. We are on December 23rd and since the 14th all I get is people asking me to HOLD while they go home, hang up on me or tell me some information that is either wrong or a repeat of what I already know. Besides calling them and calling them, is there something else I can do?
Are there people in the airport we can pay to find the bag? And is there a group that is trying to increase the amount of money the airlines pay for lost luggage? I would gladly donate money to them.
It seems to me that until the amount of money for lost luggage starts really hurting the airlines this mess will continue.

visa and airport hotel
Hi!
I am a norwegian citizen that will be flying from peru to norway this cristmas, including a 19-hour wait at Jfk airport. I would like to book a room at an airport hotel for this, but find it hard to find any homepages where I can actually contact them. The problem is that I don{t have a visa to enter the U.S:, but a electronically readable barnd new norwegian passport. Can anyone help me find out wether it is possible to spend a night at an airport hotel without visa? and if not, am I able to apply for one when landing?
Thanks in advance!
Christmas package held in customs since December 7, 2007
We have been expecting my son's Christmas package shipped from China since the 1st of December. The USPS tracking is still showing that it is in customs @ JFK. Can you tell me the status and we really need it ASAP & hope it arrives by Christmas. I would love to speak with a person to determine its location & exactly what the hold up is. Please advise.
POOR JUDGMENT COULD COST LIVES
On December 18, 2007, my family and I were traveling from JFK Airport to Portland, ME Airport. We were on JetBlue Airways Flight Number 1608. During take-off from JFK the aircraft lost tremendous altitude and tipped sideways to the left. There were many screams and gasps from the passengers as we were all sure the aircraft was going down. After a period of about 1 minute the pilot spoke to us over the intercom apologizing for the "bumpy ride" and explained that we had been "sent off too soon" and were experiencing wind turbulance from an aircraft that had just taken off prior to us. There is absolutely no need of something like this to happen. Would not people rather spend an extra 10 minutes waiting on the ground before taking off to avoid another aircraft's wind turbulence and is that not the safer course?? Our family has been shaken up from the whole experience for a few days now. We really thought we were going to die. Does anyone have an explanation for this? We should be compensated for having to experience something that could easily have been avoided.
