Hallo,
Wer kann mir sagen wo bzw. in welchen Terminal der
"DUNKIN DONUTS" zu finden ist.

Danke!!

Hi everyone...
My mom is coming from Brazil to New York for Christmas.
Unfortunately she doesn't speak English nor spanish...
I'd like to know if at the immigration clerk there's any attendant who speaks portuguese. Maybe she'll understand a little spanish, but I'm really worry!
Other problem is to pass the security line! I know those guys don't speak any other language than english...
Does anyone of you have any tips for me, please?
Thanks a lot, guys!
Ed.

Hi Ed, I just stumbled across this page and thought maybe i could help -- why don't you call the airlines? I imagine they would help you out. They must have a portuguese speaking person around (after all, they're flying in from Brazil). I am optimistic someone will be there to meet her and explain what she needs to do. I believe you will be allowed to meet her at the luggage carosel, but i am not positive; there is no security once you have landed, so that will not be an issue in NY. (the security is prior to flying, in Brazil). good luck! Peggy

You will *not* be able to meet her at the baggage carousel as that's still on the "secure" side of customs. You can only greet her after she clears immigration, collects her bags and passes through the customs declaration area and emerges into the reception hall.

Hello,
Could anyone tell me how I can get from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 and how long will it take?
thank you.

Svetlana

there is a simple train that connects all terminals. It will take about 2 minutes of travel
time. Called AIR TRAIN. Its free. It comes every few minutes

There are buses between the terminals

There haven't been busses between terminals at JFK for years. It is all on the Air Train. I do it every week.

Hi. does anyone know how to find a gate number if I only have my flight number. I fanyone knows please get back to me. Thank you.

Your gate is only assigned on the day of departure. As long as you go to the right terminal (noted on your itinerary), you're all set.

Hello,

How long does it take to walk from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1? And what is the best route?
I have an international connecting flight at JFK, do I need to carry my checked baggage from one terminal to the other or I drop it off after customs?

Thank you,

Hi! I will have to transit at the JFK airport, specifically from terminal 1 to terminal 3. The problem is that I will have to carry many big luggages by myself while my wife is taking care of my two babies. I wonder if any form of porter service is available at the airport. Thank you in advance for your information.

Hi,
is there a pedestrian connection between terminal 1 and 2 ? thanks

Yes. Lower level at arrivals.no more than a 3 min walk

Hey everyone,
Anybody knows what should I do if I want to go from terminal 1 to 8 and how long does it takes? I have 2 hours and a half after the arrival (in terminal 1). I have to do all the "check out process" also the "check in" in terminal 8. Im really worried about it please help!
