Taxi is best way to/from LGA. If you do not have to return to LGA before going to Stoney Brook you can take the Long Island RR from Penn Station to Stoney Brook. If you do need to return to LGA then take a taxi from LGA to Jamaica LIRR station where you can pick up the train.

I am arriving to JFK at 12.30PM and i need to travel to Bloomfield, CT from there. Can you suggest me a shuttle(LIMO) for the same. I believe the cab/taxi service is expensive. Also please let me know do i need to book for the LIMO upfront.
