After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

Hi,

I am bringing a dog with me on my flight from Taiwan on July 3. It has all of it's shots and paperwork, BUT I am still not clear about what she will have to do at the airport. Will she have to be inspected by someone before they let her go out of the airport? Will that person be working at 10:15 when my flight arrives? I have looked around, but I dont know what department to contact about this. Anyone who has brought a dog in with them to JFK or has any info; it is much appreciated! You can also email me directly at [email protected]

Best,
Tyler

Hello
We, two of us, are flying into JFK on September 29 and will be staying at the at the Grand Union Hotel on E32st.
What is the cheapest/easiest way to get to the hotel from the airport?

Can anyone give rough costsings ?

Many Thanks

If you contact the hotel you are staying at they can usually schedule a shuttle service for you, if they don't offer that as part of your stay. Any outside shuttle service usually costs about $20.00 per person.
