After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

I will be arriving from Phoenix to JFK Terminal 3 with Delta Airlines at 3 PM and have to take an international flight from Terminal 8 to London Heathrow (operated by American Airlines on behalf of Gulf Air) at 6 PM.
1. Will I have sufficient time to make the transfer?
2. Will I have to collect my baggage from terminal 3 and transfer it to terminal 8 myself or is there anyway to check it in to my next flight from T8?
3. If I have to transfer it myself, Can I take the baggage trolley on the AirTrain to T8?
Please help as I do not want to end up looking for directions in the last minute.
Thanks in advance.

Where do I lodge a complaint about my car being erroneously towed to the tune of $550? Who gets their car towed from a paid-for parking lot?

Hi Susan. Do you know who owns the parking lot? E.g. was it the parking lot associated with JFK Terminal itself, or is it owned and run by a private company close to the Airport, but not affiliated with whoever runs JFK?

Whoever owns the parking lot &/or is contracted to run it, would be my first choice as to who to contact.

From there maybe find out if they have a contract with a certain towing company and what their agreement with them is. For example: some lots have immediate towing, 24-7, which can come into force from not having posted one's payment stub, not parking between the lines, expired meter/payt stub, staying past the limits for the lot (--like long-term parking in a short-term lot) etc.

Hope this helps.

I have a travel booked from Siracuse to JFK and then to Sao Paulo. I'll have two hours to make this conection with two kids and luggage. I don't know the airport neither which terminal I'll have to go. The air lines are JetBlue from Siracuse e TAM to Sao Paulo. Could you tell me if I'll have enough time for this conection? Tks.

Hi, I would like to know if there is an SAA lounge at terminal 4? Please advise

Hi, I am a professional photographer traveling home from Barcelona on November 30 arriving on a Delta flight. I will be traveling with over 20 cases of equipment. How would I pre-arrange for porter assistance in the Customs area?

Hi, I have a 6 hour layover and wondered if there are any computers at JFK - not wifif, as I won't have laptop with me.

We are leaving toronto and arriving at LaGuardia @ 7PM Leaving JFK #4 @ 10:50 for Abu Dhabi, our Daughter is @ NYU there, we are a bit worried about the transfer time. Assuming we arrive @ LaGuardia on time and cab it over, how long is the average processing time through check-in and security? Thanks!

What is the distance between terminal 3 and terminal 8? how can I get from terminal 3 to terminal 8?

Where is Apple iPhone Store at JFK Airport????

none at JFK

hi, i am flying out of jfk to sjo (costa rica) 11/21 at 5:20 am. what time should i arrive at the airport? in the past we have arrived 2.5-3hrs for international travel, but have always flew in the evening and to europe. is this still necessary so early in the am? thanks

Yes, it's always better to play it safe and get there with plenty of time for check-in and security.

Is there a smoking lounge in Terminal 3 ??

No, you will have to exit the terminal to smoke outside and then clear security again to re-enter the gate area.
