Least expensive is by AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station ($5), then E subway ($2.25) to 42nd St/Port Authority Bus Terminal and bus from there to New Haven ($25). Amtrak train to Boston from Penn Station stops at New Haven but is more expensive than bus, stay on the E subway one more stop to 34th St/Penn Station.

HI, I'm arriving to JFK after 5pm tomorrow...need to travel to DC by bus or train, any suggestions?

Mega Bus.

Bus is much cheaper than train, Megabus and Boltbus are located outside Penn Station.

I'll arrive the 1st of july to the JFK airport and my hotel is the Bentely Hotel, which bus should I take? How much it costs? and how many it takes to arrive at the hotel?
Thanks so much!

There's no direct bus, you have to take a taxi or by subway/bus. Taxi will take you direct to hotel $45+tolls+tip and will take about one hour. By AirTrain/subway/bus ($9.50); take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway to Lexington/53rd St, walk north on Lexington Ave. to 57th St. and take the M31 bus towards Yorkville/E92nd St. and get off at hotel at York Ave. and 62nd St. You will need a Metrocard or exact coin for the bus ($2.25) as bills are not accepted in the fare machine.

Can someone know how to get from JFK to NJ Maunt Laurel?
Thanks in advance,

Mt. Laurel is just outside Philadelphia. Take Amtrak or NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Trenton, transfer to the NJ Transit River Line train to Rt 73/Pennsauken. Take local taxi from there to Mt. Laurel.

hi, do you know if there is a bus that could take me from JFK to Tuxedo Park, NY up north?

The NJ Transit Port Jervis Line train stops at Tuxedo (Orange County), NY. From JFK take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to either LIRR or E subway to Penn Station. Take NJ Transit train to Secaucus Jct., walk downstairs to lower level and take the Port Jervis Line train. See www.njtransit.com for schedules. There's also a Tuxedo Park (Livingston County) near Rochester, NY; for that you can take a bus from Port Authority Bus Terminal (via E subway) and bus from there to Rochester.

thank you sooooo much!!!

Hey, how do i get from JFK to 315 west 94th street easy and cheap? Thanks.

Take AirTrain ($5) to Jamaica Station, transfer to E subway ($2.25)to 42nd St, transfer there to the uptown #2 or #3 subway to 96th St. Walk two blocks south on Broadway to 94th St. and turn right.

hi, i would be travelling frm singapore to JFK. can i ask how safe is to travel at night?

how would you advise me on travelling to massachusettes, shld i go via bus or train/subway? what are the rates and the duration?

thanks for your advice. :)

To Boston, bus (around $20) is much cheaper than train (more than three times or more the bus fare!) and both Megabus and Boltbus depart from near Penn Station. If you prefer the train Amtrak has regular departures to Boston from Penn Station. Easy to get there by subway from JFK; take AirTrain ($5) from terminal to Jamaica Station, then E subway ($2.25) to 34th St./Penn Station. Travel time from NY to Boston is around 4 hours.
