I am supposed to pick up someone arriving on a jetblue flight. Your site says Terminal 5 is closed. Which terminal do the JetBlue flights arrive at?
Terminal 5 is open.
Terminal 5 is open.
Today Flight 880
Will this flight arrive at terminal 5 in JFK?
We will be arriving by
We will be arriving by 'Emirates' in Terminal 4 and will be going for onward travel in Jetblue.
How do we transfer our baggage for check-in to Jetblue flight at Terminal 5 ?
Can we drop our luggaages at the transfer counter at terminal 4 ?
re:How do we transfer our baggage for check-in to Jetblue flight
Jet Blue does not have baggage transfer agreement with Emirates . Take your bags with you over to T5 and check them in there.

information
Hi,
I am arriving at JFK terminal 1 from Raleight/Durham, with JetBlue 12.10 on the 19th of August and catching a connecting flight to Iceland, with Icelandair, teminal 7, 14.05. I only have 1 hour and 55 minutes between the flights. I was wondering if you think I will be able to catch my connecting flight, and if I have to recheck my bags, do immigration, customs, etc. Does Jet Blue have a baggage transfer agreement with Icelandair?
In other words, what is entailed from the time I get off my flight to getting on the connecting flight? What is the quickest/easiest way to get between these terminals?
Thanks alot.
re: arriving at JFK terminal 1 from Raleight/Durham, with JetBlu
Jet Blue does not have a baggage agreement with Iceland Air, so you have to pick up your bags and check them in at Terminal 7 with Iceland Air.
No immigration/customs involved in your case.
If you manage to get your bags , let's say within 25-30 min at Jet Blue(absolutely possible) , you will be able to make the second flight.
Take Airtrain on the third floor of T5, on track 1 and get off next stop(T7). The whole transfer will take you no more than 10-15 min. Make sure you are at Iceland Air check-in counter at least 1 hour prior.

catching flights
I will be arriving at Terminal 1 with an international Alitalia flight at 1:55PM, and I have a connection; a JetBlue flight that leaves at 4:45PM. Taking into consideration that I am not a US citizen and will have two checked-in baggages, will I be able to make it? I would really appreciate any help as I haven't bought the JetBlue tickets yet. Thank you.
If your Alitalia flight is
If your Alitalia flight is on time arriving you will have almost three hours between flights which is plenty of time to clear customs and go to terminal 5-Jet Blue.
Hallo, I dont know how to go
Hallo, I dont know how to go from terminal 1 to terminal 5, would you advice the shortest and easiest way with luggages? Thanks
re: dont know how to go from terminal 1 to terminal 5
Take Airtrain on the third floor of T1, on any track. T5 is three stops away.

Question about moving from terminal 3 to terminal 5
My wife and 2 small children will be arriving at Terminal 3 from Prague tomorrow and then have to move to Terminal 5 to take Jet Blue. The flights are not connected so she will have to move a lot of luggage by herself between terminals. What is the best way, will a smart cart be allowed to go between terminals, or is there otherwise any help available? She will not be able to manage the children and all the suitcases without at least a cart at the minimum. Please advise. Thank you.
re:My wife and 2 small children will be arriving at Terminal 3 f
The best way for her is to take a taxi from T3 to T5 - it will cost her no more than $10. She can also put her bags on luggage cart and take the Airtrain(which is free) to T5. The problem here is that she has to push the cart up a hill(ramp) while going from T3 international arrivals to the Airtrain station.
