LAYOVER
A team of 7 of us will be travelling to Kenya this summer. We have an 10.5 hr. layover at JFK. Is there anything to do in the area around the airport in that time? We must be cautious of NYC traffic in order to make our next flight. We arrive on a Monday at 6 A.M. on Delta and need to leave on Northwest at 4:30 P.M.
Any suggestions? or just bring a good book??? I hate to be in New York and not see anything but the airport!!
Connecting time
We have clients, a grp of about 15 pax, who will be arriving by AA at T8 and departing JAL T1 on August 31, 2009. Their connecting time is one hour and 40 mins.
Is this enough time & where is the shuttle from T8 to T1 and how long does it take and what is the frequency.
They arrive at 11:30 & depart at 13:10.

moving from terminal 4 to 3
I'm arriving from KUWAIT at terminal 4, I will need to go through customs and go to terminal 3 ( TO DELTA AIRLINES). What's the best way to breeze through this transition and get from point A to point B in the quickest amount of time. I have a 1.5 hrbefore my next flight on DELTA AIRLINES to ORLANDO.

Should my last name in passport and airticket should match?
I will be travelling from JFK to India in Mar09. My passport has lastname as my maiden name. But after marriage i prefer to use my husband's name as last name. I have the marriage certificate with me which was issued by indian government. While booking the ticket with Jetairways online i have given my last name as my husband's name bcoz my credit card which i used for booking has my husband's name as lastname. Will this be an issue while travelling? Will the TSA officials allow me if carry my marriage certificate(is in english) with me? Please clarify me.

your passport name MUST match your ticket name. Call your airline as soon as possible and get advice. You may need to get re-ticketed. Better to learn this now rather than at the airport.

My husband and I will be traveling with AA from Barcelona to JFK on November 10, Flight 151, arriving at 2:05 pm...... and connecting to Flight 2141 from JFK to Miami same day with departure at 3:20 p.m.
Can we make it?
We do not know the gates or terminals and where the Customs Procedeure takes place.
Could you assist and provide us the info so much needed about terminals, gates and proximity...and if we can make it on time to the Miami flight????

connection Delta 0086 from Miami to Delta 0106 to Frankfurt Germ
I am arriving on 5.58 p.m. in JFK by Delta 0086 and my connection to Frankfurt Germany is Delta 0106 already on 7.10 p.m.so I only have one hour for changing.
Is anybody who can tell me the way from arriving gate until to the boarding gate, so I won't miss it?

International traveler on LOT, terminal 4 to AA, terminal 8?
My foreign exchange student traveling from Poland on LOT to JFK in Terminal 4 needing to get through customes and leaving to RDU on AA from Terminal 8. What's the best path for her to take? What's the expected time to complete her tasks? She has a 2.5 hr lay-over in JFK, will that allow her time to do all that she needs to do and what can hurry this process along with the less amount of stress to foreign student?

hi.. i;ll be arriving in JFK by Delta and will go again to Singapore by Singapore Airline.
I checked already, and I need to transfer from terminal 3 to terminal 4.
Can someone please tell me what's the easiest way to move terminal since I'll have 3 luggage and 1 handbag and I'll be going by myself. And I don't have much time for it.
