Little girl has lost a white DS Gameboy on a BA flight to JFK from Manhcester last Thursday 1st Nov. Left it in the back of the seat. Had several games inside the black case too. Very upset as she saved her pcoekt money to buy it. Please contact me if you hav found it.

I lost a teddy with green jumper and blue trousers on 30/10/07, Terminal 7, gate 6 in the departure lounge around 7.30-9.30am on our way back to London Heathrow.

I may understand being somewhat in distress about losing some specific personal article, but its no excuse for the blatant, horrific moments of incorrectly spelled words. I don't care if English is a second language to you or not, the disgusting lack of forethought and proofreading, is inexcusable. Doesn't anyone read what they are typing anymore? What if you made an omission of an important word, letter, number, or other piece of information? Someone may have your item, and be unable to reach you for the simple of fact that you didn't proof read. Professor Darby would be very angry with you now, wouldn't he? PLEASE PROOF READ ALL YOUR WORK.

I was disheartened to read such a nasty posting! Yes, people are distraught at losing personal items and in their haste to find them may misspell a word or two.

But, if you are going to reply that they have done so, you may want to use proper English yourself.

When you say, "but its no excuse for the blatant, horrific moments of incorrestly spelled words", you are making several mistakes. "Its" should be spelled "It's" and the sentence should have been structured thusly: it's no excuse for the blatant, horrific, incorrect spelling of words.

When you typed "an important word, letter, number,or other pieceof information," you should have omitted the coma after the word number.

And when you typed "Someone may have your item," you should have omitted the coma after the word item.

Do you enjoy have the stone cast at you?

I left a small black watch box, approx 4" x 2" on Flight 667 from JFK to St Maartens on 20 October. I tried to recover it before the flight returned to JFK as Flight 660 that same night, but you can imagine how slow everyone is to respond. For example, at St Maartens airport they phoned the security guard at home to see if he'd found it. Unbelievable! Nothing was expensive, but my daughter bought a few of the bits and pieces for my birthdays over the years and they have very sentimental value.
If anyone found the box I should be very happy to see it again and you can email me at [email protected].
Thank you for reading this.
With regards
Margaret

While in New York, I bought my nephew who is a number one fan of the King Kong movie his own little King Kong monkey down from the Empire State building. He was so excited when I told him I'd got it for him. But once on the flight I realised he'd somehow escaped from my bag of goodies. Has anyone found him? It's cheer up my very dissapointed nephew and his idiot aunt! He was in a plain black bag

I left my T Mobile Dash Phone on a British Airways 747 in Heathrow that was bound for JFK on October 17. They couldn't find while in the UK & I wonder if someone found it on the plane enroute to JFK (in the overhead, between the seats, in the magazine pocket...). If so, please email me at [email protected]
