JFK Airport Information

When flying from JFK airport terminal 3, on the 3rd of July 2011 on flight DL184, I thought I should buy some stuff at the duty free shop as I wouldn't have time to do that when I transferred in Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport). However, due to improper sealing of the bag (the store just stapled it together with the receipt), the alcohol was confiscated in Paris. The trouble with the customs there made me also miss my connecting flight.

I could understand that this bad practice of just stapling the bags closed being done in a 3rd world regional airport or on a ferry, but not at one of the busiest airports in the world. That combined with foul-tasting pizza at the pizzeria on the airport and a bookstore with a severly limited selection, left me with a bad impression of JFK airport.

I had seriously expected much, much more from JFK Airport.

we will travel from Czech Republic (European Union) to Oregon through JFK Airport with Delta Airlines (both of flights). I would like to ask you if it is difficult to change the plane? Should we transfer our luggage from one plane to another? Or it is done by airport service?

We were flying on June 21, 2011 on Delta 2013 from Tampa, Florida, then to Cairo on Egypt Air MS 986, in two of our bags there were 2 i pads2 with their cover, when we arrived in Cairo, Egypt we found out the the 2 ipads2 were stolen and one cover. Please advise what to do?

I want to know if inside the airport has any place to take a shower or any hotel inside the airport. I have a connection in 4 hours.

we arrive in the airport from Toronto and we have 1hour 56 minutes to get a connecting flight to Dublin. Will we have enough time to make the connecting flight? what terminal or terminals will we use? Thanking you in advance, Marie.

What Delta Terminal will need to drive to pick up my mother arriving today from Santiago Dominican Republic ?

I am a UK Passport holder, travelling from DXB to JFK, (connection flight only, no requirement to leave airport) then onwards to CUN, will I require any type of Visa (arrive T4, depart T5).

I assume that the airline terminal route, remains within airport space.

We will be returning from Italy on Iberia airlines on July 30 at scheduled time 7:05 pm. We need to go to Atlanta on Delta. What terminal is delta domestic and how do I get from one terminal to the other?
