I have a connection flight to Miami.
I hope to land to JFK Terminal 1 at 05:20 pm and have a flight to Miami with AA from Terminal 8 (I think??) at 06:35.

Can anyone help me that can I catch the flight and how can I make the time most beneficial?

That will be first in JFK for me.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Can someone give me the JFK custom number so I can call for my package. I have a box of shoes air from CHINA to New York through EMS. Here is the tracking number. EA993141802CN. It says released by custom on Dec 18,2007. I went to USPS office three times. They said custom do not pass it to them. they do not have the package. I do not know where to call and find out where is this box. ANY help will appreciated.

Have you had any luck?
I'm in the same position, a package from HK, USPS says it is at the airport. Been trying to call the USPS airport office 718 656 6617, but it's out of service.
Let me know, what are the steps one should take next

Apparently EMS is not very god at delivery... I am in the same boat... did you get a phone number for thir office inthe states?

I had a white box with jewelery in it stolen in baggage claim at the JFK airport...

I'm not sure what to do... or if there is anyway I could look for it or get re-inversed

Please let me know...

On Friday, December 21, I took Delta Flight DL5506 from JFK to Logan Airport. My seatmate, I believe, left her hat behind in the overhead baggage compartment. Although I contacted Delta promptly, and have corresponded with Customer Care and with a Baggage Officer staffer, I'm not satisfied with the way my quest has been going. I'd like to connect the lost hat with its owner . . . not send it to a Delta lost-and-found box in an airport. Any suggestions or advice? I'm holding the hat safely in the hopes that its owner will be able to identify it.

I have a flight on Friday at 9.15 pm from JFK airport. I stay in NEWARK DELAWARE. Could you please tell me the cheapest way to travel from my place (With in 60-80$)?

My 17 year old lost his camara on January 6th around the A24-A29 American Airline. It has his picture of his first Cruise on it. PLEASE if you have seen it PLEASE, PLEASE let us know. It is a Sony camara, and it was in a Black bag that has a little blue around it. When you turn it on the first picture that will pop up on the fiew screen is a picture of our Cruise ship.
Thank you so very much

you can have the pics back but not the camera

I am looking at booking a flight from dublin to miami. I leave dublin at 09.00am and arrive in JFK at 11.20 in Terminal 3. My connecting flight is at 15.50 from Terminal 8. Will there be enought time to collect luggage etc and make way to terminal 8 to catch flight to miami.
Flying with Delta from Dublin - JFK and AA from JFK to miami.
What is the latest you can check in at AA terminal 8

You should have plenty of time, although customs may pose quite a delay. If you tell someone at customs that you are catching a connection to Miami, they might put you ahead of the others. I believe there is a regular bus that takes passengers from one terminal to another. It might be tight, but you should be alright. Just pray that your bags get off first, and then run like the dickens. Good luck!

I flew through JFK Saturday 5 Jan directly from Venice Italy. What a bloody nightmare. Baggage took forever to arrive. Most people could not figure out how to get out of the baggage terminal to customs. There were no signs showing the exit. I noticed Skycaps and others were very rude to people who asked directions. When going through customs there were simply no directions. We stood in line for a long time before someone finally directed us an elevator. He said to take it to the third floor. The two elevators held perhaps three people with luggage each. Once on the third floor everyone was dumped out with no directions about what to do with luggage. Finally figured out where to take our already check baggage and then got into the nightmarish security lines. Finally an employee (God bless him whoever he was) told us that we could use a different security line that wasn't as crowded. Got through that and then it must have been a mile to our terminal. We just barely made our connecting flight.

Would it be so bloody hard for the Airport Authority to put some signs up? It would surely help traffic flow more smoothly and save a whole lot of consternation. Even in Europe they manage to have busses to take passengers to terminals that are far away but I guess JFK can't manage that. The airport is simply ridiculous.

Guess next time you should stay where you are or ASK someone for directions to where you're going. I've been to Italy and it was full of the rudest people I have ever met in all my travels, but I knew where I was going in advance and was able to get there with only the attitudes of the natives to deal with.
