But I called up the airline and it's telling me that it's not canceled or anything. The question is how am I going to travel all the way from Staten Island when the roads are not shoveled at all?

FYI: Airport is closed until 4PM 12/27/10. I had the same issue last night when the Airline operator said flight was confirmed and scheduled to leave @ 10:35PM, How is it possible with airport being closed, had to basically tell them they were idiots and after fighting for an hour, they finally realized i was correct and finally told me flight was cancelled. So I LUCKILY sit at home waiting with my infant daughter instead of waiting at the airport like an idiot. Moral of the story, airline operators and their supervisors are idiots. Thank you and hopefully we'll all be in the air safely very soon. Happy Holidays to all...

i going to fly from j.f.k NY terminal 1 in 27 des .2010 at 8:pm. im going to go to saudi arabia by the saudi airlines. Actually,im afraid that they gana cancel my trip because i am living in boston so i have to go to NY first..is there any Passibility
that the storm gana extend??

Does anybody know the best way to get from JFK to Brooklyn with the recent airport closures? It appears the trains have been shut down and taxis aren,t picking up. Any suggestions?

I had a 2:45 pm United flight. After 3+ hrs on the plane,flight canceled. Next confirmed flight out is THURSDAY! Everything before then is standby. Airport is definitely going to be hectic the next few days.
