My sister took off at HK Airport, arriving at JFK 20:15, Dec. 26, CX 840. Will it arrive at JFK? Or will it be delayed?

Hi! I am from tour agency.
My clients also take flight CX 840 that should have arrived on 12/26 at 20.15pm.
As long as I know right now (11 PM of 12/26), the flight stop at Toronto due to the blizzard in NY. They stuck in Toronto right now.

I am on the same flight and I have the exact same question. I live in Staten Island and the roads are not shoveled at all.

I just checked, the flight is scheduled to depart at 12:30pm but that does not help because I need to get there by car and the snow is making it impossible to drive.

Just talked to Cathay HK office. She said CX841 was rescheduled to 12:30pm departure today. CX Website was updated with this info, too. How does it happen when the JFK won't open till 4pm today?

my uncle is departing from santiago, chile this afternoon(sunday 12/26) and arriving to JFK, ny tomorrow(monday,12/7) around 7am. apparently theres a blizzard in the works in ny, and lasting till monday morning. My question is will JFK be closed tomorrow morning?? i've been trying to get in touch with my uncle but i have a feeling he might be stuck in chile. thanks for you help!
