They said it wont be 2 hrs delay since the airport is closed. They are not clear when it will be able to fly as the plane has to come in the airport for passrngers to ride it. They will be getting some info about this by noon so i will post it here when i get any update at noon. I am more concerned as to how to get to the airport, my huge&heavy baggages does not allow me to take metro so i should get the bus but it seems so dangerous! i am concerned..

Next information on the flight will be at 13:00EST. We are planning on departing at 17:00EST although info from the port authority doesn't look optomistic. Once the airport re-opens we will depart 1 Hour after. Regards QR Ops.

Just had word from JFK Airport Authority that they will not open prior to 16:00L and then it will be single runway operations. This means big delays throughout the night.There is also heavy steady snow and strong winds forecast which could further keep the airport closed. Regrads QR OPS.

Airport is closed but JFK site shows south African airways flight 204 scheduled for dep @ 10:40 am is still showing ok. Anyone know about this flight. I'm at least 2 hours from airport.

I have the same flight, and SAA has no one available to tell me if the flights cancelled. Travelocity connects me to SAA and the only info I get is a recording from yesterday saying my flights on schedule. What the heck do I do?

ROYAL JORDANIAN DISPATCHED THE FLIGHT RJ261 TO JFK TODAY ESTIMATE TIME OF ARIVAL AT 2130 GMT ANY POSSIBILITY OF DIVERSION ???

So my flight is on Monday 9am, the airport is not going to reopen until noon, but my flight is still not canceled. What am I supposed to do? How am I supposed to get to the airport in this blizzard?

For everybody, the airport is closed until 4::00 PM, DEC/27 due to snow (Airport Closed Program by FAA), so stay in your houses and relax.

DO we go according to the airline or the airport? I called up the airline and they said it's not canceled but the airport is not opening until 4pm.

I can't even contact the airline. Which number you guys called? I called 800-233-2742, but nobody answered. I check both JFK and Cathay Pacific web, neither of them says about cancel, but it was updated yesterday!!!
