History - Construction of the airport began in 1942 with modest ambitions. Only 1,000 acres (4 km²) of land on the site of Idlewild golf course were earmarked for use. The golf course provided the airport's original namesake, Idlewild Airport. First commercial flights began on July 1, 1948. The airport was formally dedicated as New York International Airport on July 31, 1948. It was re-dedicated on December 24, 1963 as John F. Kennedy International Airport, following action of the Mayor and Council of the City of New York, and a resolution of the Commissioners of the Port Authority. After the September 11, 2001 attacks, JFK was one of the first airports in the United States to be temporarily closed.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the cheapest way to get from the JFK airport to Penn Station. I will be travelling on the 8th of January in the midnight hours.
If not, the easiest and cheapest way to get from JFK to Boston MA, other than flying.

The easiest and cheapest way to get to Boston: take AirTrain from your terminal to A - subway station go to 42 st penn station (no transfer is needed) check a MegaBus.com for a bus departure from Ny to Boston some times the price is aprox $10.00 for a trip. Chinatown buses are cheap but location is not great. You will spend more time to look for bus stop. Good luck. Have a nice trip
To Penn from JFK, the best
To Penn from JFK, the best way would most likely be the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). Take the AirTrain from JFK to Jamaica Station, and then catch the train from there into Penn. It should be only about $5 or so. There are ticket machines around the station, so be sure to buy your ticket before boarding the train.
