Hello, I'll be arriving JFK on October 11th. and have to get to Sunnyside in Queens.
Would you appreciate informing me which would the best transporte be, and cheapest.
Thank you very much for your help.
Cheapest is by Airtrain/subway ($7.25); the 40th St. and 33rd St. stations on the #7 subway are closest to the Sunnyside area but you would still have to walk quite a bit. Take Airtrain from your terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to the E subway, get off at Jackson Heights/Roosevelt Ave. and transfer to the inbound #7 train to either 40th St/Lowery St. or 33rd St/Rawson Ave.
Hi there, could someone please let me know the cheapest transfer from FJK to 54 street New York, thankyou.
please tell me how long the NYAS would take from JFK to Greyhound station at Port Authority. Thx!
take the airtrain to jamaica.. its $5 each way buy a special metro card at the air train station..
once in jamaica at LIRR..take the bus Q44 or Q20 it stops on sutphin blvd at jamaica ave...costs $2.50 buy a metro card at the LIRR station for the bus.. and get off at melbourne and main street 2 blocks west of the college
I will be taking the Airtrain and subway from Jamaica to get from JFK to Manhatten. Can I use my 7-Day Unlimited Ride MetroCard for this journey?
You can use it only on the subway ; for the Airtrain you have to buy a separate Metrocard($5) at Jamaica station(before you exit the Airtrain system).
Hi, I would like to know how much is the New York Airport Service (NYAS) fare? Did the metrocard apply to tyhis service?
Thanks a lot
It is $15 to Manhattan and $13 to LGA; metrocard does not apply for that fare.
Hello I wuold like to know What is the better option to get to Secaucus in NJ? It is posible to take the Shuttle JFK-Grand Central and then take the subway? This wile be my first time in New York
Thanks
Take the NYAS shuttle bus from terminal to Penn Station (or Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and then either E subway or LIRR to Penn Station) and then NJ Transit train to Secaucus Junction; I believe all NJ Transit trains from Penn Station stop there.
Hi,
I will spend a short weekend in NY and want to leverage every single minutes. Could you pls tell me what is the latest time when should I depart from Grand Central Terminal to reach my plane to Italy starts at 6pm? How busy are the roads? Or which transportation ways do you recommend?
Many thanks!

If we arrive in Newark at 15:15, and the plane leaves from La Guardia 19:50 - would we be able to transfer i time? And how do we know where we would take the shuttle from? How much does it cost, and is it easy to find? We've never been in NY before.
You can take the Go Airlink Shuttle from your terminal at Newark to LaGuardia. You can book online at www.goairlinkshuttle.com and get cost info.
Can you please tell me how to travel with the subway from JFK to the nearest station to "the New Yorker" hotel,481 Eighth Avenue,NY ?
THNX.
