Take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, then take either E subway to 34th St./Penn Station or LIRR (faster and a bit more expensive than subway but the trains have overhead luggage racks so it may be easier for travelers) to Penn Station. Exit to 8th Ave. and your hotel is one block north at 34th St.
I'm not sure I understood very well: is the shuttle service available just for one person too or do you have to hire it for a group? I'm travelling alone and I'm arriving to JFK quite late at night, so I'd prefer not to take the subway...and the taxi is quite expensive...this could be the perfect alternative! Thanks for the explication :)
I will arrive from Minneapolis to LaGuardia at 12:25 AM and I need to catch a flight to Europe from JFK at 17:40 PM. Is there enough time to change the airport?
What happens if my luggage is delayed or gets stuck at LaGuardia?
You can take a taxi or NYAS shuttle bus between airports, takes about 30 minutes. You should have time.
The NYAS shuttle bus between JFK and LGA is $13 and leaves every 30 minutes beginning at 6:30am.
Ask at Ground Transportation about State Shuttle's service between the two airports. Cost is about $30.
Hi,
I am arriving late Saturday morning and staying in the Chelsea area. What is the best way to go from JFK to this area? Taxi or is there a way to take a subway? Estimated costs? Any help appreciated!
Thanks!
Taxi is flat rate $45+tolls+tip. By subway; take Airtrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to the inbound E subway to 23rd St. (at 8th Ave., the heart of Chelsea!). Cost for Airtrain and subway is $7.25.
I am landing at noon at JFK on saturday. I need to go to Philadelphia International AIrport. Please let me know if there is an airport bus/shuttle and what would be the cheapest option
At the Ground Transportation counter inquire about Dave's Best Limo service which runs shuttles from JFK to the Philly area. There's also Amtrak train service from Penn Station-NYC to 30th St. Station-Philly where you can get local transportation to PHL.
