JFK Airport Parking Information

You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:

Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.

Parking rates

$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours

Daily JFK Airport Parking

Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9

Parking rates

$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Follow the signs for the Blue Parking Lot - it is the closest one.

Best place to park for pick-up: FinAir (helsinki) 4pm arrival

Any recommendations for arrival time and parking during the week? Picking up someone from international flight coming on FinAir around 4pm? Where can I wait? Luggage Claim? Thanks.

Finnair is normally terminal 8 but double check the arrival terminal anyway. You can wait on the arrivals level, international arrivals will claim their bags before going through customs and you can meet them when they exit customs.

parking near terminal 8?

Is there parking near terminal 8 for me to go into the airport with my son for a couple of hours while he waits for an international flight? Or will we have to park farther away & take a shuttle or train?

parking Iberia arrival

Trying to determine best way to handle picking up French guests flying in on Iberia, Terminal 7, 8/29/10 Sunday at 4 PM. Two of us are driving in together from CT - is it best to have driver park at cell phone call waiting area after dropping other off to wait for guests at baggage claim? Or is it worth parking in green lot - not sure if that is nearby, etc.
