JFK Airport Parking Information
You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Is the daily parking fee ($33) remains the same at all JFK short term parking lots?
Plan to leave my car in JFK terminal parking area for 2 days instead of using long term parking lot (handicapped and can not shovel the snow by myself)

I have handicap privilege
I have handicap privilege dashboard card. I want to park for 8 days at jfk jet blue terminal. will I be allowed the 18.00 per day fee? Are there special handicap designated spots at the short term lot?

You will be allowed to take
You will be allowed to take advantage of those fees. Usually the spots close to the terminal are reserved for handicapped vehicles.(They are marked as well).

can i use my easy pass to pay?
how often does the airtrain pass by the parking?
does the airtrain stop by the parking, or i have to walk to the airtrain terminal? is it a long walk, like 20 min?

You should be able to use
You should be able to use your EasyPass. The AirTrain station for long term parking is at Lefferts Blvd., near the entrance to the lot and not really a long walk depending on how close you park. AirTrain runs every 10 minutes or so.

Does 5 day parking counts as long term parking?
You should park in the Long
You should park in the Long Term lot at $18 per day for 5 days, and take AirTrain from there to terminals. The Short Term lots are across the roadway from the terminals but charge $33 per day.
