I am flying from Boston to JFK via JetBlue, then Emirates from JFK to Dubai to Bangalore. According to the JetBlue website, when booking a joint ticket with JetBlue and one of its airline partners (in this case Emirates), when you check in, you can get boarding passes for each leg of your trip and your bags are checked through to their final destination. I'm assuming that the same is true on the reverse trip back to the States, but I'll have to check to be sure.

Hope this helps.

I am also flying from Boston to JFK via JetBlue, then Emirates from JFK to Dubai to mumbai, please let me know once you fly what happen

I am also taking a jetblue flight to jfk terminal 5 and then emirates to pakistan from terminal 4. you will have to get your baggage at terminal 5 in jfk and take it to terminal 4 to check in your bags again. but dont worry, when you are at the baggage claim pay the few bucks for a trolley for your bags so its easy to push around. the airtran is the easiest way getting to terminal 4 and the walk isnt that bad with the trolley.

I am taking a flight on a Saturday morning, 8:20am. I am planning on parking in long term parking. How long should I give myself to get from long term parking to airport using shuttle? Is it a hassle? and should my husband drop myself and my two young children at the terminal with the luggage before he parks the car?

There's an AirTrain station near long term parking which will take you to all terminals and it's free. Allow at least 15 minutes on AirTrain, trains run every 10 minutes or so. If you have lots of luggage it's a good idea to drop your family off at the terminal first.

Does JetBlue really demand that you arrive 2 hrs early for a flight to San Juan, PR? Or is it just suggested? Not looking forward to getting up at 4am!!

These flights are normally full and you'll need that much time to stand in line at check-in and at security. Better safe than sorry!

I arrive in Terminal 5 on a Jet Blue flight and have 40 minutes to get on my connecting flight on Iceland Air in Terminal 7-last minute need to get to Iceland. I have no checked bags and can run pretty fast, but is this do-able? I know the Airtran takes a few minutes-but-do I have to go through another security point? Does Iceland Air require any earlier check in? I have tried to call their customer service, but they are not open. Is there an in airport Iceland Air number I can call and let them know of my last minute check in?
Thank you much!!!

I believe you will have issues making your connection. Besides the time it takes to deplane and go to AirTrain to connect to T7 you will have to clear security at T7. Not sure if Icelandair will let you check in online and print your boarding pass which will certainly save precious time or if they will require you to check in at the airport to verify you have a valid passport, only they can answer your questions.

Do you know if JetBlue and TAM have luggage agreament? How can I get from term 5 to term 4 at TAM ?
How long would take for complete this connection if I had to check out and then check in the luggage? Thanks

We are flying into JFK on Fri night on Jet Blue, and flying out early Sat morning on Jet Blue, are all their flights in the same terminal, and what can we do while awaiting our flight out in the early morning. is there someplace where we can rest, and will we need to go for our luggage or will it be put on the plane that we will be going out on, like it normally is when changing planes.

Is there one Welcome Center per terminal or only one for entire JFK airport?

Where is it?

There is Welcome Center at T1, located on the first floor.
There is Ground Transportation Counter at T2 located on the first floor.
There is Ground Transportation Counter at T3 located in International arrivals area B.
There is Welcome Center at T4, located on the first floor.
There is Welcome Center at T5, located on the first floor.
There is Welcome Center at T7, located on the first floor.
There is Welcome Center at T8, located on the first floor, international arrivals.
There is Ground Transportation Counter at T8 located on the first floor, domestic arrivals.
Hope that helps.
