Where's the Emergency Protocol?? I arrived at JFK yesterday after taking all day to get there from Philadelphia by train, subway and taxi (which are very hard to find right now due to weather). No flights were going anywhere and people were stranded. It was about 5pm when the workers present began kicking people out of the Terminal into the freezing cold because they said they wanted to go home. There was a couple with a 6 mo. old baby that was forced outside. There were very few taxis and not many would pick up because the rule is they can only pick up from downstairs/arrivals but arrivals was closed! There was no place to get a taxi, there were no buses or shuttles. I asked an airport attendant where I can catch a taxi if arrivals is closed and they just said I don't know. In an Emergency like this there should be organized people and emergency rules in place so people aren't stranded in the cold!!
