Hi. I just purchased my family's airfare to Italy on Alitalia for next summer. I was not told at the time that middle names would be needed for the tickets (middle names are included on our passports). Despite only a day or two that had passed since I booked the flights, I called Alitalia so they could add the middle names. They informed me that they could not reissue or add the middle names to the current tickets. They decided to add our middle names in their system on our profile so that we should not have a problem with check-in at Alitalia. I just wanted to make sure that I would not have any other problems with security checks if my boarding pass has my first/last name and my passport has my first/middle/last name.
