I am taking a flight with JetBlue to JFK on one ticket and then taking SwissAir from JFK on another ticket. We are arriving around 8am and cannot pick up our ticket for our second flight until 2pm (we are flying as members of a group). We would like to spend the day in NYC and then return to JFK for our second flight but we do not know what to do with our luggage. We have contacted JetBlue and they do not have a partnership with SwissAir where they can transfer our luggage. This means we have to leave the security area to retrieve our luggage and cannot recheck into the security area until 2pm when we have our tickets. My question is, is there any place we would be able to store our luggage as we will not be able to get back into the secured area?
