After a few test flights of KLM, Air France and Lufthansa, Eurocontrol said they will release the airspace shortly.
Airspace above eastern Europe has already been opened and some airports in the eastern Europe region are fully operative as we speak.
Please note that it will take some time before all flights are operative again and please note that airport mortuaries and some cargo will get priority.
Dutch airspace will be closed untill 20:00 (8.00 P.M.). KLM brought 8 extra aircraft back to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
