Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but it was my best guess.
I arrived at JFK on an Air France flight from CDG Paris last Thursday July 29, and my luggage had not yet arrived to claim and recheck for my connecting Delta flight to LAX. I was instructed to make a claim at the Air France desk, but was then told by a Delta employee that I wouldn't have enough time to catch my next flight and that I could make the claim when I arrive in Los Angeles. I spoke with the baggage office at LAX upon my arrival there and would be told my bag would be delivered the next day.
It has now been four days and I still don't have my luggage. I have been in contact with and made claims with both Delta and Air France who have been helpful but not successful in finding my bag.
If my luggage is still at JFK would it have been put in storage? Is there a number I could call to speak with someone at JFK to see if my bags are still there? I would really like to get my luggage back!! Thanks for your help, any information is appreciated.
