Dear Sirs I've bought a 12 year old whisky bottle to give to my father as a Christmas gift last 11 Dec at the duty free JFK. However nobody informed me that when arriving at an EU airport with would be confiscated once it had more than 100 ml! While arriving at Amsterdam my the security confiscated my 38 dolars bottle and thrrow it away to the garbage can.I've requested to dispatch it with my luggage and they statrted to search my entire hand luggage and the time they delayed me was enought to miss my flight. I had to wait 7 hours for my next plain and when I finally got to my destination my luggage was lost. So now I have no luggage, clothes, my child presents nor my fathers bottle. I feel that all this could be avoided if the lady and the duty free that checked my check in card had noticed that I was flying to Europe and adviced my about they restrictions concerning liquids instead of being interested in selling me something that could never arrive to final destination. Do you know where I can fill in a complaint? Thank you very much for your support and I hope this event can help other person.
