Is the following information accurate to take me from JFK to the Newark Airport? Could you please help confirm and add more details if needed? - I'm really not so good at figuring out how to get to places on the spot. Thank you soooo much!!
Step 1: At the JFK terminal, take Airtrain to Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station. AirTrain to Jamaica Station is $5, then from there take either E subway ($2.25) or LIRR ($8/$6.50) to Penn Station
Step 2: At Sutphin Blvd-JFK/Jamaica Station, change to the New York City Subway. Take a Queens-bound E train (blue line) to Penn Station-New York. (trains run every 5-10 minutes to Penn Station)
Step 3: At Penn Station-New York, change for a New York-bound NJ Transit train to Newark Airport Station (NJ Transit). (runs every 20-30 minutes) and takes 30 minutes to get to EWR. Make sure the train's destination is Newark Airport Station (buy you ticket at the station or you'll pay more if purchase on board the train).
Step 4: Newark Airport Station (NJ Transit), take the Airtain to Newark Airport.
