Airtrain , Directions, Hotels

There is an airport train that circles around the airport terminals, so one group can ride that to meet up with the other group at the other terminal. It's a free train. As far as a transport company, you can take Super Shuttle or another bus service, but it would likely be cheaper to take two taxis or a car service to the city. A taxi is typically around $45 plus tip, and car service is around $60 plus tip. Super Shuttle charges $15 per passenger, and you often have to wait for other people in the shuttle to be dropped off first, depending on where your hotel is located.

hi, im annabel, i want to become a flight attendent, i was born in jersey but i moved to brazil two years ago, and i wanted to know if i move back to new york live by JFK can i work in TAM airlines since i know portuguese and english fluently, or would i have to start off at an american airline? thanks

Hi.
Can anybody help:
Inbound flight from Helsinki (Finnair) arrives to JFK at 15:50 and connection with AA to Miami is at 17:15. Would be that connection too risky? This connection is given for me from Finnair website when booking my ticket..
Both airlines leave from the same terminal..

You should be ok. You will have to first go through immigration and get your bags and go through customs. But as soon as you exit - you will leave your bags for the connecting flight and all you have to do is to find you departure gate for Miami.

Hi - I get into JFK on 9th Jan 2010 @ 7:30am and connecting flight doesn't depart until 6pm that evening. So I have about 10hrs to spare - would I have enough time to travel to Statue of Liberty and then maybe spend some time walking round Times Square & Central Park? And if my bags are already checked through due to transfer flight, then what time do you suggest to be back in airport at to get through customs? Many thanks in advance for your response

You'd definitely have time to walk around. I doubt you'd have time to go to the Statue of Liberty though. Suggest getting back to the airport no later than 4pm. Hope you enjoy!

Kelly, you will have more than enough time. Grab the airtrain to Howard beach then the A train to Manhatten. You can be down at the Statue by 11am easily. Allow 2 hours to visit the statue (pre book your tickets on-line) and then hop back on the subway to get yourself back out to JFK by 4pm. If your running tight for time at anytime grab a cab back out to JFK.

Hey,

Im gonna be coming in to JFK terminal 7 around 6.05 pm, then I have a domestic flight which leaves from terminal 3 at 7.30 pm

After i arrive at terminal 7 i have to go and get my luggage and then get it checked in for my other flight + that I have to go to the other terminal...

Is this doable, or will i miss the flight?
