Take the airtrain to the Long Island RR, express to Penn Station Manhattan. At Penn Station, hop on a NJ Transit Train to Newark Airport. At the Airport, hop on the airtrain to your terminal. Total trip will take 1.5 hours, but will avoid any potential traffic jams. These trains almost always run on time.

We have a layover at JFK for 3 hours and are traveling with a small puppy. Is there anywhere we can let her out to exercise or potty before our 11 hour flight to Istanbul?

How can I get a job at the airport?

Love the new Jetblue termanil!

Hello.

Im in need of some help. I'll be flying from the UK next february and I will be visiting a friend in Rhode Island. The cheapest option will see me fly to JFK airport and transfer onto another flight from there to Rhode Island. This is the first time I am travelling on my own, so im pretty nervous, especially when I hear how huge this airport is. Will it be easy to navigate and find my way around and can you offer me some advice.

Thanks.

the airport is pretty huge but it depends on wht terminal ur flgiht will be arriving at and the airline ur flight is connecting 2. Each terminal has different airlines arriving and departing. To get around the terminals is easy through airtrain, which is free of charge and travels to every
terminal in JFK.

Hello,
does anybody know how many showers there are in the airport? and in which terminals? Do they cost money, how much?
Cheers,
Cat

I wanna know too! i will arrive Terminal 1 at 1/30 and connect to a flight from Terminal 7 at 1/31 to Argentina, then take a night bus to somewhere, which this journey takes more than 2 days! I want to take a shower before I depart JFK!

I am travelling to Mexico on Monday with a stop over for 4 hours in JFK, will we be allowed into the airport to shop/eat etc?

Any body know , what is the terminal number or telephone at JFK to get an exit stamp on 1-94 ? Please reply ASAP

Thanks

I'd like to send my luggage to my home when I arrive at JFK. So is there Fedex,DHL or Post office etc?
Would you let me know if it can? Thank you.

I flew out of JFK on Friday 28th November on the 1630 KLM/NW flight. After checking in, I was asked to take my bag to security. I proceeded to the X-ray machine. Before handing over my bag to the security man, I attempted to push its telescopic handle down into its slot. As I did so, the security man began shouting at me: 'Stop, stop, stop!' I told him politely and calmly that there was no need to shout and that it was my bag and not his, but he only shouted at me some more. I could see that he was extremely agitated and so I complied with his request. But when I retrieved my bag from the carousel in London I found that the handle had been broken off. Given the thickness and strength of the metal it seems highly likely that it was damaged deliberately. Unfortunately I don't have the security man's name but I'm sure it would not be hard for the airport authorities to ascertain the identity of the gentleman responsible. At best his conduct was reprehensible.
