I need to send one bag from jfk on my friend's address in NY by US Post or DHL or something else. Is it possible to do? Are there any post offices in/near airport?

I am arriving at JFK on DL 842 at 3:15 PM at Terminal 3. I have a connecting flight to Air France (DL8601) departing from Terminal 1 at 4:45 PM.
1. Do I have sufficient time to make this connection
2. How do I transfer from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 (Walk, Bus, Train etc)?

Hello There,

My cousins were traveling to Brazil on Copa Airlines last Saturday and were told that they had two items in their suitcase that were not allowed to go. The airline crew removed the items and told my cousins they had 15 minutes to go back to the terminal get the items, give to a family member and return to the flight. If they did not return in 15 minutes, the airplane door would be closed and they would not make their flight.
They had no choice to stay in flight. Do you know where and who might have these items? Is the airline responsible for holding the items to be picked up?
