This is for anyone who is trying to change/cancel their tickets!!
If you bought your ticket from a travel agent, just go back to the agency and have them change the date. Of course, you'll have to pay the change/cancellation fee due to the ticket regulations and I'm sure that the travel agent should've informed you before you purchase the ticket.
If you bought your ticket online, just call up the airline customer service and ask if changes are allowed. Follow the ticket restrictions and regulations.
Changes and cancellations are always according to your ticket regulations. When you purchase the ticket, make sure that you understand the ticket restriction and regulation.
Higher fare tickets should've more flexibility. Lower/cheap tickets are more restricted. Please keep that in mind!
Hi
I've got a flight from New York to Paris, then from Paris to Kyiv. According to my present ticket I must take a flight on 2 of september but i want to leave as soon as possible. Is it possible to change my tickets to the begining of august and how much it will cost?
Where did you get your ticket from? If it's from a travel agent, go back to them and change it. Of course, you'll have to pay a certain amount of cancellation fee/change fee. If you bought it online, just simply call up your airline and change it. But the matter of fact is -- if it can be changed.
Is there a shuttle bus or public transportation to go to Newark airport from JFK. If yes, is there a schedule or where can I get more information.
I live in puerto rico and i am 18 years old. I obtained a puerto rico lerners permit which i used as a picture i.d. I spent my summer here in new york, in this time my wallet was lost containig my permit. I’m from Costa Rica and I will arrive on the JFK Airport and I need to get to New Jersey but I don’t know what I have to do… How can I get there by train?... Where are the stations that I need to go?....
My son's flight arrives from London next month at 3:45 in the afternoon. How do you suggest he get from JFK to Baltimore? The bus leaves too early.
Strange. However, there is Amtrak from NYC's Penn Station to Baltimore. Son will have to take a taxi from JFK to Penn Station (34th Street & 7th Avenue) and find the Amtrak terminal and get himself a train ticket to Baltimore. Silly question, but if he is flying from London, why doesn't he fly to Washington DC instead? That would save him a WORLD of inconvenience.
It's about 25-40 mins with minor traffic...but usually you'll need around 90 mins of travel time between LGA and JFK!
This is for anyone who has the option to avoid flying through JFK- Do So. I have flown through JFK at least 5 times and every time I have been delayed for at least 2 hrs. It is ridiculous how many flights get delayed every day and the terminals are over crowded so o never have a place to sit. Try to avoid flying through JFK if at all possible- its worth paying the extra hundred or so dollars to aviod the area.
I arrived from the Dominican Republic last sunday. Thinking that an evening flight was going to be the best to come in. I was totaly wrong. The flight arrived at 7:25pm half an hour before time we did not leave the airplane until 9pm. it seems the airport was not organized enough for our flight. our gate was ready but there was a plane in the way. the plane had to get in line twice to get back to the gate. even the pilot was laughing at the situation. then they put us in a gate that is basically on the other side of the airport from the customs agents. That is not all , there was hardly any agents in the airport with more than 10 flights coming in at the same time. Our lugage got there last after flights that arrived after us and there were hardly any customer service agents there there was 2, yes i counted. and elderly lady in a wheel chair was left waiting for more than 45 minutes. i had to tell someone with a walkie to please help her. The question will be were was the aiport mangers. JFK is one of the biggest airport inthe world. it needs to be organized espeacially in the summer.
