You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:
Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.
Parking rates
$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours
Daily JFK Airport Parking
Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9
Parking rates
$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period
RV Employee Parking JFK
I'm a flight attendant based out of JFK. Anybody know if I am allowed to park an RV in employee parking long term and use it there 8 days a month?

leaving on Jet blue from JFK - will park in LT parking and take airtrain to T5. When returning to JFK -does Jet Blue Terminal have signs to get airtrain back to LT parking and is there a specific airtrain to take back to LT parking?

I am debating whether to parking in long term parking or parking terminal 8 for 4 days. Can anyone help me which is better and how long does it take to get to teminal 8 from lon term parking.

Long term parking lot would
Long term parking lot would be the best choice in your case. The trip from Long Term to Terminal 8 is about 15 to 20 minutes.
SUV Parking
Is there an additional charge for daily parking an SUV at JFK?

Taking flight from Virgin
Taking flight from Virgin America. Would like to leave car at LTP. Is it difficult to get a spot? Also which Air Tran or shuttle do I take to get from LTP to Virgin America, and on return flight where do I get the shuttle back to LTP, from V. America?
American Airlines Terminal 8
I have a flight on Sunday 3/6 at 12 noon and will be arriving back to JFK late at 12:30am the following Sunday. Should I use long term or short term parking? And what would the rates be? I was told that there is parking for $13 a day if you use the shuttle, but that was word of mouth and I cannot find it on the site.
