Generally, NO; it's actually illegal for airlines to give passenger information to just anyone. If she's a US national, she will have to provide contact information for somneone not traveling with her. I would suggest of course having her give your contact information. I'm not sure if that would suffice as permision for the airline to disclose anything to you regarding your sister though. If she's not a US national or if the aformentioned is not possible. It would be best for her to inform the airline at the airport she's checking in at that she gives permision for you to receive information regarding your sister. The airline should send a message to JFK explaining this arangement. If that doesn't help, then I don't know. Good Luck!

I arrive on American (Terminal 8) with checked baggage at 7:35p and fly out on Jet Blue (Terminal 5) at 9:10p. I assume I have to go get my bags and re-check them. A) will I have to go to security and b) will I have enough time (95 min) to do it? Thanks.

Hi I am arriving JFK at 2 pm but my flight to hongkong dies not leave till 10pm.
Can I check in my bags first : head out for a meeting and come back in the evening?
Thanks

I'm coming from Turkey-Istanbuland I will be at JFK Airport at October 6. I'm flying with Turkish Airlines.I have a connection flight with Delta to Washington D.C. Do I have to take my luggage from the plane? If yes, do I have to carry my luggage or do Delta and Turkish Airlines make transport?

You will collect your luggage at JFK after you clear immkigration but before you clear customs. Ask Turkish Airlines if your luggage will be checked through to DC and if they will issue the Delta DC flight boarding pass. If yes, take your bags to the Delta connecting flights counter after you exit customs and proceed to Delta terminal 3 via Airtrain and proceed through security to your departure gate. If no boarding pass for DC and/or luggage not checked all the way through you'll need to check in at Delta terminal 3.

Hello,
I have flight coming from Cairo (CAI) to JFK October 12th at Terminal 3 (6:50 am) and I have a domestic flight via US Airways number 1447 12:05 pm. Do I have enough time to finish immigration and customs? Which terminal US Airways depart from? Thanks

My children are flying from Halifax to JFK. They will clear customs in Halifax. They arrive at JFK at 7:25 am and will transfer to a DL flight to Atlanta leaving at 8:10 am. Is this enough time if the first flight is on time?

This will be extremely close! Is the arriving flight from Halifax on Delta as well? If so, the departure gate to Atlanta is in the same terminal (T2/T3, they're connected post-security) and they can check the board on arrival for the departure gate and hurry there. Any delay or if they have to change terminals to another airline they probably won't make it.

I land at 7:17am in terminal #3 and transfer planes in terminal #3. This flight is with Delta will we have enough time to get our next flight?

Are you arriving domestic or international and when does your transfer depart? If you arrive domestic in the same terminal you are departing it only takes a few minutes to walk between gates. If you arrive international you will have to clear customs and then re-enter the terminal, clear security and proceed to your gate.

hello, i have an international flight arriving at JFK at 6.40pm, and need to make a connection with Jetblue for a domestic flight at 7.30pm. will that give me enough time to collect my bags, go through customs, etc?

My parents will make connection at JFK from Terminal 3 to Terminal.

Is there any way they can "WALK" from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 without taking the AirTrain?

If they do take the Airtrain, is terminal 1 the next stop from terminal 3?

Thanks a lot!
