Terminal 4 Facts and Figures

The $1.4 billion T4 opened in May 2001. It is the cornerstone of a $10.3 billion revitalization program currently underway at JFK. T4 is a model for air terminal technology for the 21st century. T4 has signed agreements with approximately 50 airlines representing 40 countries, serving U.S. and overseas destinations around the world. T4 occupies 165 acres, one of the largest properties of any terminal at JFK and is one of the largest air terminals in North America. T4 was designed with the infrastructure to process between 10 million - 12 million passengers annually. T4 operates the only facility at JFK's with 24 hour Customs and Border Protection, 365 days per year. T4 houses the only internal station for AirTrain, JFK's light rail system connecting all JFK terminals, Long Term parking, Car rental and hotel locations, The NYC subway at Howard Beach and the LIRR at Jamaica Station. T4 is home to 4 religious chapels- Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Multi-faith, each with a dedicated Chaplain.

I am picking my sister up at Terminal 4 next Thursday at 6pm. Where is the best place for me to wait in my car until the plane lands and she gets her luggage .. so I can be ready to drive up to the terminal when she is ready?

lost my I-94, please inform me if anyone finds any I-94

I have lost my I-94 during a flight which was on 5 September. I am an F-1 student. I request everybody and anybody to inform if they find my I-94, i.e., arrival and departure record. If anyone finds my I-94 please mail me at "anoosha_112000@yahoo.com".

I earnestly request the airport's/terminal's 'lost and found section' also to mail me at the above mail ID if you find it/have it.
Can I come to the terminal 4, to the CBP office, at JFK and get a new I-94 if, God forbid, i do not find my lost I-94? As my details have been entered into the system during my entry and as the stamp put by CBP is also present on my passport as well as my I-20, that shows proof of my lawful legal entry to the US, will that be enough to issue me a new I-94, without fees??? Will I then not need to wait for 2-4 months to get my new I-94, but instead, will i get it after few hours of waiting at CBP office at terminal 4 at JFK????
Anyone and everyone, please please please help me. Please help me with the right information that i am in dire need of. It is an earnest sincere imploring request from me.

what time do they close the check in counters? have flight today but running late and i might arrive 30 mins before flight

Teminal 8 to 4

Hi, I am flying from STL to India. My fight from STL (via AMERICAN EAGLE) arrives at 9:26 pm at terminal 8 JFK. I have to take a connecting flight at 11:00 pm terminal 4 (EMIRATES) .Which leaves me about hour and a half time to transfer. I am travelling with my family with 2 infants. With that said do I get enough time to make this transfer ? How long will it take to transfer ? What is the best way to do this ?
Do I have to collect my checked in bags from terminal 8 and re-check in them in at terminal 4 or can I do the through check-in at STL and that way I don’t have to re-check in.

You can ask American Eagle

You can ask American Eagle in STL if they will check through all your bags - it all depends on the fact if AE has baggage transfer agreement with Emirates.
From T8 take Airtrain on track 2 and you will be at T4 in less than 5 mins.

change Terminal 8 to T4 and T4 to T8

Will land Terminal-8 8am, then we have to catch Emirates from T4 11.20am.

What are my option to change Terminal with 2 little kids?

While return ,
Emirates land T4 , then immigration and then we have to take AA from T8.

What about baggage? Do I have to take from T4 to T8?

Take Airtrain on the second

Take Airtrain on the second floor of T8, on track 2 to T4. It is only 4 mins free ride. You have plenty of time to transfer.
On your way back you have to pick up your bags and go through US customs. Then re-check them in at Emirates connecting flights counter.
Take Airtrain on the third floor of T4, on any track , to T8.

I need to make connection to my final destination Toronto.
How many time I need for that Path, It is long?.
Do I ´ve to do Coustums Issues, I´m on transit.
It,s on the same Terminal for Departures?
