Thank you in advance!

Dear Sir/Madame

I'm flying to New York on 11/9/2010. I suppose there are always cabs ready to take you to the heart of the city. But are there also immediately limousines available? Or do you have to book them?

Thanks in advance!

With kind regards

Guillaume de Saint-Cyr

Hi I'm flying to JFK on friday around 4pm (estimated arrival time) with JteBlue from San Juan, Puerto Rico and my fiancé is also flying to meet me in JFK from London Heathrow with British Airways. Is their any chance that either of out flights be cancelled. Could theire be a chance to re route in worst case?

When should I contact the airline if so?

Thank you!

I have a choice of airport lounges through my credit card. I can use the lounge in Terminal 1 and 4 at JFK. I am flying domestic out of T 9 on AA to Tampa. Will I be able to use either of those lounges or are they on the wrong side of international check -in?

we are arriving on BA001 from LONDON tomorrow afternoon (Thursday). is there any disruption planned with rregards to Hurricane Earl in NY tomorrow??

Check with your airline, but you should be ok for Thursday arrival. Current forecast puts the storm near Northeast coast on Friday.

Hello,

I plan on traveling from New York to London in November. I have a box that is 60 inches high, 52 inches wide and 15 inches deep, and weights 50 pounds. Inside it, there are two paintings framed in plastic. I would like to know if I'll be able to take this with me on the plane. I am flying Virgin Atlantic, will be flying from JFK, and they told me it's up to the airport.

Thanks a lot,

Daniel

I leave Dublin on Saturday morning, to arrive in JFK on Saturday afternoon at 2:50pm.

Hurricane Earl's projected path puts it just east of New York & New England on the Saturday morning.

Will flights be changed/cancelled?

How do I find more info on any of these arrangements?

How far is it from the JFK airport to the Statue of Liberty? I have a 5 hour layover. Could I go and see the Statue of Liberty in that amount of time? Thanks!

Definitely not enough time. It will take you at least one hour to get to the ferry terminal, another one hour to wait in line, clear security and board, 30 minutes on the ferry to the Statue, at least one hour at the Statue, 45 minutes on the ferry back to lower Manhattan (stops at Ellis Island on the way back), at least another hour back to JFK. That's over five hours not including the two hours in advance you need to be back at the airport for check-in/security. Sorry to disappoint you!

To just see it? Might cost you a bit in taxi fare, but take a cab to Brooklyn Bridge park (about half an hour each way) sit on the grass, have a hot dog and look out across lower Manhattan at the statue for as long as you see fit.
