JFK Airport Parking Information

You can use two different types of parking at JFK airport:

Long-Term JFK Airport Parking
Located at Lefferts Blvd, 4 miles from CTA
AirTrain services link parking with the terminals.

Parking rates

$18 for up to 24 hours
$6 for each 8-hour period over first 24 hours

Daily JFK Airport Parking

Green parking - Terminals 1,2,3
Blue parking - Terminal 4
Yellow parking - Terminals 5 & 6
Orange parking - Terminal 7
Red - Terminals 8 & 9

Parking rates


$3 for the first half hour
$6 for up to 1 hour
$3 for each additional half hour, up to $33 maximum each 24-hour period

Does the price noted on this site ($18.00 for 24 hours) include tax? If not how much more should i expect to pay?

I'm gonna have a trip to Florida for 3 days. I know Jet Blue is the airline but but I'm not sure were can I live my car for 3 days???

I will dropping off my mother in law in terminal 1 for an Alitalia flight bound to Rome, Italy. What are my best options to park? I would like to stay with her until she goes to the gate.

Hello,

For the period from June 10th through June 13th 2010, do I have to reserve long term parking ($18)in advance, or it is first-come first serve basis?
Also, if it is full when I arrive at 1:00PM, what do I do to leave my car for 3 days?

What is the best way to park at JFK and then get to Terminal 3 in inclimate weather? I understand that the passage from the Green Lot (closest to Terminal 2 and 3) is not protected from the weather. I looked at parking in long-term parking and taking AirTrain to the terminal, but it's not clear on the map if the passage from the AirTrain stop to Terminal 3 is protected either.
