Hi
Can anyone recommend the best (least transfers) way to get from JFK to Jersey City? Arriving about 6pm on 5th December.
Thanks
Taxi will take you direct but could cost $80 or more. The PATH-Yellow/Blue Line train ($1.75) from 6th Ave/33rd St near Penn Station stops at Journal Square in Jersey City (via Hoboken on weekends). To Penn Station from terminals; NYAS express bus ($15) or AirTrain to Jamaica Station ($5) and transfer to LIRR ($3.50 "City Ticket" on weekends) to Penn Station. Exit to 7th Ave and walk one block to the PATH station at 6th Ave.
Taxi is direct but cost is about $100. By public transportation; take AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station, transfer to LIRR train to Penn Station, transfer to NJ Transit train to Newark.
I have a 6am flight this Sunday 11/29 Jet Blue. Is long term parking and Air Tran available at all hours? Just look for Air Tran signs in lot and I'm good to go right?
I am flying into JFK via Kuwait Airlines arriving at terminal 4. I must then transfer to terminal 1 to take AA to Halifax, Canada. Can I check in my luggage at Terminal 4, AA counter before I take the Air Train to Terminal 1.
I am coming in on a late flight (arriving after midnight) through Continental. I need to get to the JFK Plaza Hotel please.
Take AirTrain on track 2 from T8 to T4. You can rent a luggage cart and take it on AirTrain between terminals.
I'm flying into JFK and need to get to Newark, can anyone tell me the fastest way?
Fastest is probably taxi but travel time will depend on traffic, cost is around $90. If you're going to Newark Airport State Shuttle offers service between airports for around $30, inquire at Ground Transportation. NJ Transit offers train service to both downtown Newark and Newark Airport from Penn Station; take NYAS shuttle bus to Penn Station from terminal or AirTrain from terminal to Jamaica Station and transfer to LIRR to Penn Station. If you time the trains right you could make it to Newark in around 90 minutes from JFK.
How long does it take to collect bags at the Delta terminal. I am arriving from Canada via Pinnacle Dba Delta connexion. (Customs done in Canada)
How do I get to the Car rental area from terminal 3.
Do I take clockwise or counterclockwise Air train?
Thanks.
It should take no more than 30 mins.
To care rentals stop(Federal Circle) take the counterclockwise Airtrain(track 1).
