Correct, AirTrain is after security (you will walk outside the terminal building to get on the AirTrain).

Hi,
I am flying in to JFK and need to get to Northport. Do I take the Air Train to Jamaica Station then LLIR to Northport? Will I need to buy a separate ticket for the Air Train and for the LLIR? How much will it cost?

Yes, take AirTrain to Jamaica Station and LIRR to Northport. AirTrain is $5 and LIRR to Northport is $6.50 off-peak, $9.25 peak. You can purchase a combination ticket at the LIRR self-service machine before you exit AirTrain at Jamaica which will have your AirTrain fare on a "Metrocard" on one side and the LIRR ticket on the other side. When you exit put the Metrocard side in the turnstile, it will return your ticket for you to retain for LIRR. Assistance is available at the AirTrain exit if needed. See mta.info for trip planning, schedules, fares, etc.

Hi,we arrive on Saturday at the JFK and have to go to Ramada Limited Hotel Jersey. What is the best way to get there?

Hello,
We are arriving at JFK aiport on the 16th December from London at 6.00pm. How long would it take by public transport to get to the Sheraton Lincoln Habour Hotel in Weehawken, in New Jersey?
There's 4 of us travelling, with 4 bags? Would cabs be more convenient? I'm just worried about the cost of a taxi at peak hour? Thank you

Four of you can share the cost of a cab which will take you direct instead if messing with multiple transfers on public transportation.

Wondering how much time it takes to go from Terminal 4 to Terminal 8?

I have an international flight arriving Terminal 4 @ 2:15pm and need to catch a connecting flight @ 3:30pm in Terminal 8 (I assume this is the terminal AA flies out of). BTW, I will only have carry-on, so won't need to wait for luggage.

Thanks!

When you exit customs in T4 go to the third floor to AirTrain and take any train on track 1 to T8, travel time only a few minutes. Hope your arriving flight is on time as your connection time is tight as it is.

Arriving in JFK at 11:30am need to get to Penn Station Madison Square Gardens and return 15:30 hrs 5 days later same route, Thanks
