My wife arrives to Terminal 8 by American Eagle from Toronto and then flies by Finnair to Helsinki also from Terminal 8. On her way back she arrives by Finnair from Helsinki and then flies by American Eagle to Toronto (all arrivals and departures from T8).

Does she need in JFK to recheck her luggage? Does she need to go through security screening ?

ONLY on her way back she need to pick up her bags, go through US customs, recheck the bags at AA connecting flights counter, clear security and go to the gate.

Even if she flies from JFK to Toronto (Canada)? Again it is the same Terminal 8 that she arrives from Helsinki and flies to Toronto.

Passengers from Helsinki have to clear customs( and security after that), regardless where they are connecting to.

I will left USA flying from San Francisco to Madrid stopping on New York. SFO to NY fly is American Airlines arriving to Terminal 8, NY to Madrid fly is Iberia Airlines and left Terminal 7. I've a single ticket so I guess my luggage will be transferred directly between AA and Iberia.
My questions are:
Should I re-check in my luggage?
What the procedure is (if it exits) to go from T8 to T7 always been inside the "safe" side?
Thanks for your answer.

No need to recheck your bags - they will be transferred by AA.
After you dissembark the AA plane, follow the signs for the Airtrain , take it on track 2 and get off next stop. Then go to the main building(T7), clear security and head to the gate for MAD flight. I will assume AA will issue the boarding pass for you MAD flight(if not , stop by Iberia counter and get one).

Hallo,
my Air Berlin Flight to Germany is at 17:45, is there any possibility to watch the semifinal Soccer Game Germany vs. Spain at Terminal 8? A Sports bar or sth else?
How long before the Flight do I have to check in?
Thank you!

Here are the two bars(where they have set up TVs) after security:
-New York Sports Bar Post-Security Gates 8-10
-Drink Martini Bar Post-Security Gate 4

Hello, if I arrive in terminal 8 on Finnair, and then have to go to terminal 2 (Delta Airlines), how long do I need? Thanks!

If I am arriving with Finnair to NY and I have to go to terminal 3 (Delta to Las Vegas), do I have to carry the luggage to terminal 3 or is there transfer desk at terminal 8?

How about vcoming back from LV with AA to terminal ( and continue with Finnair (1h40m transfer) - hopely the luggage is checked to Finland?

Thank you sir/ms/madam for quick answer!

You can recheck-in your bags at Finair connecting flights counter at T8.
Check with Delta on your way back even I am sure they will check the bags all the way through.

I am arriving from Washington DC at Terminal 8 by AA and then I have to take an IB flight departing from Terminal 7. Flights are not connected so I have to pick up my baggage and make again the check in for the IB flight

To be on the safe side, how many hours should I need to make a comfortable transfer?

Thank you in advance.

In this case you will need at least 3 hours in between the flights - roughly 1 hour to pick up the bags and transfer between the terminals and 2 hours to check-in for your next flight.
Even you have the flights on two separate tickets you still can ask AA to check your bags all the way through(just show them the second ticket). I have seen them doing that sometimes.

I am flying into Terminal 4 with my family from Doha with Qatar Airlines and need to catch American Airlines flight from Terminal 8 to Toronto. The time between these flights is 2 hrs 10 min. How do I get to Terminal 8 from Terminal 4? Do I need to go through Customs & Immigration?

Cheers
