You can buy prepaid phones in any drug store/pharmacy/convenience store/super market...etc. Maybe the "Hudson News" stores in the terminal has them too.

i took us3292 from (clt)to (jfk), i missed the china eastern flight mu588 to shanghai on march 12th,then the next day a us airways emplyee helped me transferred to united airline, so i took UA7 TO SFO ,and UA857 to shanghai, but i haven't receive my luggage yet, is there anybody i can talk to??? pls help me,i got all my valuable items and my paperwork in it, i feel so frustrated
Terminal 7 - both airlines there, but more complicated?
My friend is flying into JFK on a ANA (All Nippon Air) flight, and has about 3 hours and forty five minutes before catching a connecting flight with United Express. I understand that both airlines are in Terminal 7, which would seem to be good, but I would like to know whether he as a Japanese national with checked baggage would have to leave the terminal nonetheless to go through immigration and luggage claim, and how difficult or long this might be. Thanks in advance for your help.

I am flying my parents from South Africa to Portland Oregon and they have a 2 hour, 15 min period from when their international flight lands at terminal 4 to get through passport control, get their luggage, go through customs, get their luggage back on the plane and then get to terminal 7. My mother is recovering from chemotherapy and will be in a wheel chair .... are they going to be able to do this without killing themselves?

I'm writing this message because I just booked 2 flights, the first from Rome airport (FCO) to JFK airport and the second from JFK airport to Tampa international airport (TPA). I only have one hour and 15 minutes to check-out, take my luggage back and re-check-in to Tampa (but I have no choice, because this one is the last available flight of the day). Here are details: arrival in JFK at 20.15 and departure to Tampa at 21.30.
Will I be able to catch the second airplane or not? Can you give me any advices to make everything quicker?

I don't think that will be enough time for you to do immigration, pick up your luggage and then go through customs.
Although it takes only 5 mins by airtran to go between terminals. You still need a super fast passage through the formalties.
You could request your fellow passengers to allow you to go first in the immigration queue. How long your luggage takes to get there is pure luck.Then customs takes 5 mins. And of course, a quick air tran to whichever domestic terminal you need to go.
I suggest you find out in advance about the terminals. Don't hesitate to ask people for quick navigation around these massive airports.
