I have a flight arriving with United Airlines at 1040 AM and my flight leaves with Iceland Air at 2:05PM.
What do I have to do? I have only been to an airport once and both times was within the US and I only had a carry-on.
I need to know just an overview of what I'll have to do when I get there? I'm nervous! :P
I'll have a carryon and a purse and a regular suitcase. I don't really understand how that works. Where do I turn it in at? And then where do I pick it up?
Hello. My sister will land with BA at Terminal 7. How can I get from Manhattan to the Arrival in Terminal 7?
Tks
You can use NYC taxi. The price is on the meter plus any applicable tolls and tips.
Do NOT take a taxi as it can take twice as long and 4 times the price depending on the time of day. Just take the AIRTRAIN to Jamaica and take the E train into Manhattan for a total price of $7.25 and about one hour of time. Yes, there is a little walking in the terminals, both at JFK and at Jamaica, but nothing too far and no stairs. Depending on where you are going, many E-train stops in Midtown, such as 53rd-Lexington Ave have escalators, so it is not a problem with simple luggage.
I am arriving from London to JFK through a BA flight around 11am but have a AA flight to IAD at 12.20 pm.
The two tickets were bought separately.
Will I make it within that transit time and will I be able to re-check in my luggage after customs/immigration at terminal 7 or will I have to go to baggage claim, collect them and then check in again at terminal 8. Since BA and AA share code, will I be able to check my luggage all the way to IAD from London.(3 questions in all).
Thanks.
My flight will arrive JFK at 20:15 on 27 Jan, 2011. Is it OK for landing at that time? Thanks!
I'm departing from american airlines around 11am , will there be a delay on flights around that time?
My elderly parents will be arriving at jfk from hkg on Cathay at terminal 7. After they go thru customs, will they be able to recheck their bags for their domestic Delta flight at a counter outside customs or do they need to take them to the Delta terminal?
Hello. I am arriving at JFK from SFO at 10:30 pm. I have to go somewhere in Manhattan in 1hr 30 min - hopefully 1 hr. How long will baggage claim take and will it be easy to get a cab at that time? Also, do I need to take air train to go to baggage claim area?
Dear sirs,
I arrive at JFK from London 04 Feb 11 at 10.45 pm - Terminal 7 and from Terminal 4 depart to Jamaica (Flight 15, 155a).
I am Russian (St.Petersburg).
Should I need to have a US visa or I just go to Terminal 4 without leaving International airport.
Thanks in advance

Hi agian, i need HELp!!!! we arrive at 6.10am from vancouver to jfk and have connecting flight with AA at 7.30am, i know, we have to go through us immigration and transfer from T7 to T8, will we also need to go through sercutity?? or is that in Canada?? if we have to go through all this and we run like the clappers, any chance we will make our flight???? Thanks for your advise in advance.
Cheers.
If your flight originates in Vancouver you will clear US customs before departure in Vancouver, otherwise you will clear customs at JFK. When you arrive at T7 take AirTrain on track 1 one stop to T8. You will go through security at T8 in order to get to your departure gate. If you clear customs in Vancouver and you arrive at JFK on time you should have time to make your connection. You may not have time if you have to clear customs at JFK.
I have a flight arriving
