JFK Airport Terminal 1

Hello,
I am coming from Istanbul,Turkey with Turkish Airlines and I have a connection flight to Norfolk with Delta Airlines.
What is the best way to get to Terminal 3 from Terminal 1?
Do I have to carry my luggages by myself (from Terminal 1 to 3) OR after I go through customs in Terminal 1, does DELTA staff take AND send them to Terminal 3 ?

I have a flight on Cayman Airways from the Cayman Islands and then will take a flight to upstate New York on JetBlue. Will my bags automatically transfer or will I have to pick them up before I change terminals? Thanks!

My mother is flying in on Aeroflot to T1 and only has 1hr50 min to go through customes/luggage and get to T3 on Delta flight to CVG. Will she have enough time? Can I arrange for some kind of assistance? Would she be able to walk over to T3 or only Airtran is available, if walking how long? outside or inside walking?

Hello, my mother is flying in from Russia into Terminal 1 and then has to go to Terminal 3 to catch a flight to CVG in 1.50min. Is that enough time to go through customs, get the luggage and etc??? Also how do you get from Terminal 1 to 3: walking (how long? outside or inside)/airtain? or other ways?

I have a flight on delta arriving at 2:45pm and an outbound
flight on Turkish Airlines at 4:45pm, just 2 hours. Will this
be enough time to make this connection? Will I have to recheck
baggage or go through a security screening at JFK?

Hi, I will arrive to JFK from Morocco on terminal 1 and then I have to take another flight to Atlanta after 3 hours from terminal 3. Are 3 hours enough to complete the immigration process and get to terminal 3 at time?

My flight originates in Honolulu, connecting in LA, then I will be arriving JFK on United flight 82 from LA. Arrives 7:01 a.m. I will then have to connect to United flight 5255 operated by Tam Linhas Aereas departing 9:25 a.m. to Sao Paulo, Brazil. My flight itinerary states to "please check in w/operating carrier." Will I arrive and depart from the same terminal at JFK? Also, if I need to check in with the operating carrier, does that mean, I just go to the counter at the gate? Hope I have giving enough information. Thanks for your help in advance.

hi..... is there any facility in JFk to assist passengers (who does not know English) during customs and baggage claim?

I am picking up a passenger from an AF3660 (also known as DL0107). Flight status says that the flight arrives in Terminal 3. However, every other time I've picked up passengers arriving from Germany, I've picked them up at the International Terminal 1 even when another Terminal has been indicated for the flight. Can you tell me which Terminal AF3660 (DL0107) will actually arrive at tomorrow 6/16/2010? thanks!

My mom arrives into terminal 1 from Germany on Lufthansa and has several hours before her flight on American back to LAX.
It is not clear how she deals with her luggage if they are clearing customs at JFK? Does she pick up her bags and is there a tranfer counter for American in the same terminal. or does she have to carry them get on AirTran and take them all the way to terminal 8 to recheck them?
